Whoa. The U.S. added 90% fewer jobs in 2025 than originally reported. That’s not a rounding error. That’s a massive difference between the economy Americans were told we had and the one we actually had.
When first reported, 2025’s jobs reports added up to 1.2 million new jobs. After revisions, the economy added just 116,000 — 90% less.

Facts matter. And the facts are Texas is suffering under Republican leadership.
What is going on in Texas? The current Texas Agriculture Commissioner said he voted for a Democrat for the first time in his life and that Abbott “needs to go”. This is absolutely wild.

Our Constitution and laws do not give Blanche any general authority whatsoever in the states’ certifications of our elections. They will seek to find every crack and wrinkle in the law that—when looked at with malice—might empower them over our votes. That’s where the fight is.
🚨🚨🚨 Q: Is there any scenario in which DOJ would try to block states from certifying the election? AG TODD BLANCHE: Yes, of course. It is not DOJ's intention to improperly interfere with elections or the state certification process, but ...

Trump's recent actions—the purchase of diesel, the lifting of Russia sanctions, the degrading of Starlink—clearly show his malicious desire to bleed Ukraine & strongarm them into submission. I joined @AC360 to discuss.

Historian here 500 free black Haitians fought in the French contingent with the Continental Army during the siege of Savannah in 1779 against the British.
What we said would happen is happening. Republicans ending TPS for Haitians has led to incredible job loss, harming businesses and the local economy in communities like Springfield, Ohio. Scapegoating hardworking immigrants hurts all of us.

Save the university. Fire administrators.
How bad is administrative bloat in higher ed? At MIT, the “student body has grown by 8% and its faculty by 9% since the mid-1980s. By comparison, the tally of administrators jumped by 189%.”

Ramaswamy has produced an attack ad weaponizing the rape of his opponent, Amy Acton, when she was 12 years old. It features Acton’s mother, who abandoned Acton after she was raped by her step-father, fleeing the state with her husband. Here is the corporate money helping fund that ad.

Could Vivek Ramaswamy publicly celebrate a Hindu festival and hope to be accepted by MAGA? I think we all know the answer.
This week, I was blessed to join Hindu New Yorkers in Queens celebrating Navratri, Durga Puja, Dashain, and Vijayadashami.  We danced garba, performed aarti, witnessed Sindoor Khela, and honored the Goddess Durga. It was an honor to come together in joy, faith, and community in temples across our city — especially after the attempted mass shooting at a Hindu temple in Illinois last week. May we all join together in our shared responsibility to stand against hate and care for one another. Jai Mata Ki.
