Good luck finding: "This doesn't sound like the Louise Lucas I know. She would never engage in the crimes she is accused of!" in this statement.
I have read the charging document alleging a series of criminal acts by a member of the Virginia Senate. In our American system of justice, people are presumed innocent until proven guilty, and that is true for Senator L. Louise Lucas. She and her family deserve the opportunity to present their defense and speak to the allegations presented.
The timing of this indictment undermines the U.S. Department of Justice’s previously longstanding policy of not taking legal actions — to include indictments or significant investigative steps — close to an election and sadly, this timing further erodes the trust the American people deserve to have in the Department of Justice.

Since the GOP primary debate, my message on data centers has been the same:
Virginia’s 10th District has done more than its fair share to host data centers.
It is time to start putting them somewhere other than our backyard. The fact that data centers have been built right behind people's fences is insanity, and anyone who knew about that and did nothing to stop it should be fired.
Data centers should answer to us, not the other way around.
VA-10 deserves a Congressman who will fight for real limits on where they can be built and tax relief for those who are already living next to one.
We can't give more time to someone who has represented Data Center Alley for 6 years at the state and federal level, without a single bill or action to stop data centers from being built in neighborhoods.

It seems very much in the public interest that the identity of UCC #2 be revealed
The thing about Louise Lucas that gives me mixed feelings is yes, she is staggeringly corrupt, but she's also been so refreshingly brazen and straightforward about it, that it made her way less dangerous than those who are better at hiding their perfidious nature.
Is Louise Lucas the most corrupt member of the Virginia State Senate?
44%Yes
42%No, there's worse
13%Unsure
279 votes • 19 hoursI have a feeling that one or more of the "unindicted co-conspirators" in the Louise Lucas indictment are also members of the state senate.
But wait, there's more

Join myself and @Virginia10GOP this Saturday for a Get Out the Vote Rally and the Leesburg Office of Elections.
We'll have free food, music, and special guest speakers - including @VinceCoglianese from WMAL!
VA-10, it's time we send a message that Virginia's 10th wants a Congressman who will represent the district above all else, who won't vote 8 times for a government shutdown, who will work across the aisle to get our national deficit to $0, who will fight for lower taxes for our working families, and who supports an energy plan that will allow Virginia to achieve energy independence without sacrificing our quality of life. 🇺🇸🗳️

I see we have reached the "AI exposing every vulnerability governments have inserted into security software over the past 3 decades, all at once" stage of technological development
The Internet had quite the day today...
So basically, today PHP got two critical bugs that let anyone run code on your server without even logging in, which is bad, and then the details leaked before the patch was even out, which is worse, and it works on WordPress and MediaWiki and Magento and Joomla and Laravel, and Censys says like 1.5 million servers are running a version with no fix, so the NSA was like "take your system offline," and the FBI was like "take your system offline," and CISA and the UK and CERT-EU were all like "take your system offline," and then the Prime Minister of Japan, the actual Prime Minister, posted at 5:55 in the morning telling 48.8 million people to take their system offline, so everyone took their system offline, like the Dutch cybersecurity agency took its own website offline, and the Dutch parliament went offline, and the Port of Rotterdam went offline, and Finland and France and Denmark started pulling government sites, and Wikipedia went down, and Archive.org went down, and Asana and GOG and Something Awful went down, and the University of Vienna's webmail went down for some reason, and that's just PHP. Because GitLab also dropped a CVSS 10.0, which is the highest score they give out, for a bug that's been there since 2014, so that's every self-hosted GitLab for twelve years, and then LiteLLM 1.107.0 got hijacked and shipped a credential stealer and a remote access trojan in every single wheel and the Docker images, including latest, and you didn't even have to import it, just installing it was enough, and it's the second time this year, and then Railway paused every deployment on the entire platform because someone got into the environment variables, so now everyone has to rotate every secret they've ever stored there, and TiDB Cloud said someone was walking around inside with stolen credentials for basically a month and an extortion group says they took 10.6 terabytes, and Zeabur got breached for the second time in two months and is just shutting down, like the whole company, and Node.js patched remote code execution and a TLS bypass, and CISA says Plex is being actively exploited, and someone took over 300 Tor exit relays to steal SSH passwords, and SafePay ransomware has hit over 600 critical infrastructure orgs, and India's biggest bank filed a data loss incident, and Japan has been in an official state of emergency in cyberspace since October 9, which honestly explains the 5:55 AM post. Oh, and eMudhra, a certificate authority that's issued over 60 million certificates, whose entire job is proving websites are who they say they are, was supposed to be using private keys that are random numbers over a hundred digits long, and one of them was 4. Just 4. And the others were like 66 and 237. Anyway, it's Wednesday.
