If Susie Wiles is trying to get rid of Stephen Miller and block the deportations, then Susie Wiles needs to be fired as WH chief of staff.
👀
Okay, let’s talk about this Tanya Miller, the new GA AG.
Her Wikipedia page says she’s from the Cleveland area. I attended Case Western Reserve University for undergrad and medical school. I am almost the exact same age as she is, and I graduated with my bachelors the same year as her page claims she graduated with hers. Funny thing is, all of the black people knew each other. We just had a reunion in the summer. One of my besties brought her name to our group chat yesterday. I showed it to hubby who was a year ahead of us. None of us remember her. Very odd.
If she had ever polled like a threat, Abbott could have pointed out her unsavory ties, but she flew under the radar.
Texas Governor-elect, Gina Hinojosa’s stepmom, Cynthia “Cyndi” Hinojosa, was just reelected to Justice of the Peace. Cyndi was a board member of Southwest Keys Programs, Inc.— one of the NGOs that received billions in federal funds to “help” unaccompanied illegal alien children by placing them in one of its many shelter “casas.” Hinojosa was also a clinician at one of those shelters, La Esperanza Home for the Boys, for seven years. Southwest’s Keys Programs have faced numerous allegations of sexual abuse against children and covering up/retaliating against children that tried to complain. It was actually the DOJ under Biden that brought suit against the Program but it was of course, dropped for unknown reasons. Gina’s husband, John Donisi is treasurer of American Gateways! Non profit that provides legal services to illegal immigrants. They are currently suing the federal government for halting funding. However, the non profit managed to continue receiving taxpayer funds from San Antonio despite its massive debt.
Wait, I thought the democrats assured us there were completely against all datacenters. You mean they lied?
The governor-elect of Texas, Gina Hinojosa, has explicitly said that all currently permitted datacenters in Texas will be allowed to finish construction. This essentially covers all of the 2027 and likely well into 2028.
She is going to pass laws that ensure that all *newly* permitted datacenters going forward for delivery in 2028/2029 will pay taxes, commit to no increase in power prices for consumers, don’t impact water availability for people, be constructed with union labor and give “Texans a seat at the table.”
Sounds reasonable. She doesn’t want to lose a lot of good blue collar jobs and property taxes for small towns in rural Texas.
Datacenter commentary starts at 6:30 in this interview.
Also attaching her official campaign position from her website in the next post.
Sidenote: After watching a bunch of her speeches and interviews, I do think she is a political talent and probably has a future in national politics.

Democrats: We were just kidding about those data centers being super dangerous. They're super lucrative and we love em.

If my theory that 20% of expected GOP voters turned around and voted D out of protest is accurate, then Abbott would have had 5.6 million votes and Hinojosa 4.2 million…
Abbott margin of 14%, in line with his usual performances.
Paxton would have had 5.4 million to Talarico’s 4.4 million, margin of 10% and a four point gap from top of the ticket, which is what most polling reflected.
20% GOP backstab rate.
My initial read on data at the county level, excluding major urban and suburban counties (worse), is that 15-20% of reliable Rs voted D practically across the national map.
In Walker County, TX, in an election with over 10mm votes, I’d have expected a margin for Abbott around 40% even in a left pendulum year, 8,800 margin on 22,000 votes.
Margin was 4,900 (23%) on the same number.
I hope everyone’s anger votes result in satisfaction for living under their new Democrat masters practically everywhere in the country.

🚨Abbott's AI Data Center Panic Will Carry A Big Cost for Texas
Texas is about to get a real-world lesson in the economic cost of saying “no” to data centers. Local officials - and the state's lame duck governor - are blocking or delaying projects over water, power, land use, and noise concerns, some real, and most imagined. The intentions may be understandable, but the consequences are measurable in dollars and lost jobs.
Key points:
· Data centers deliver construction jobs, permanent high-wage technical and operations roles, and large property and sales tax bases.
· They drive private investment in grid upgrades, water systems, and broadband that benefits entire communities.
· When a county or city - or a governor - issues a moratorium or kills a project, those benefits often leave Texas entirely rather than shifting elsewhere in the state.
· Taylor County and the Abilene area recently halted new data center development over water and electricity concerns; similar discussions are underway in other fast-growing Texas communities.
· These decisions ignore the counterfactual: forgone payroll, forgone school and county tax collections, and forgone multiplier effects on local contractors, housing, and retail.
· Texas has spent years building a reputation for abundant land, competitive energy costs, and a relatively light regulatory touch. Repeated local rejections signal that the welcome mat can be pulled without warning.
· Companies evaluating multi-billion-dollar sites notice. They have options in other states and other countries.
Saying no carries a price. Saying no in a political panic - as @GregAbbott_TX did during his failed re-election campaign - comes with major unintended consequences. Now, @GinaHinojosaTX will have the chance to extend the moratorium Abbott intended to be temporary. Investors will respond by moving on to friendlier states.
Some investors have already made that move.
My new piece at @Forbes details the story of #BaRupOn LLC, which recently moved a $3 billion data center project planned for the Permian Basin to Wyoming, where data centers are still welcome.

Texas Lt. Gov Elect Vikki Goodwin has voiced policy views that, if acted on, would turn Texas into a sanctuary state akin to Oregon and California. She supports allowing all “refugees” to cross the border with impunity and stay, opposes any police cooperation with ICE, voted against Jocylyn’s Law denying bail to violent criminal aliens, voted against the law that banned sanctuary city policies in Texas, and opposed state spending on border security and walls. And a lot more.

He also matched Abbott’s vote share.
Meanwhile, the Bluest voters in Texas refused to shine a light on their own party's waste, fraud and abuse.

The absolute craziest win went largely unnoticed. Incoming Congressman in upstate NY Anthony Constantino. This man is literally insane, and used his victory speech to say Free Diddy. He is super rich as the ceo of sticker mule and has been living in mexico the past few years.
This is gonna be a colossal sh-tshow.
When Gina Hinojosa was asked about what she would do as governor of Texas, her answers reflected her belief that she would be the lone Democrat fighting daily against a wall of Republican officials. But Tuesday’s win will grant Hinojosa far more latitude to operate than she may have ever imagined. texastribune.org/2026/11/04/…
Give men a stake in their society or they burn it down. Has happened countless times in history.
