An absolute legend, really sad to learn that Kanzi has died.
The loss of a legend- Kanzi, the language-competent bonobo, has died age 44.
Kanzi was exceptional in so many ways and offered us profound insights into the linguistic & cognitive capacities of great apes.
He has taught us so much and will be hugely missed. @ApeInitiative

Come and find us today at the Welcome Fair in @universityarena where we have experiments, quizzes and psychology staff are available to answer any questions about the course. Great to see so many clubs and societies also here today, including the brilliant Coppafeel team 😊
On day 2 of Welcome Week we talked about creating student communities & applying psychology to real world issues. Then it was onto brainstorming, where staff debated nature/nurture & psychological steering to win student votes. Well done to Naomi & Felix for taking the win! 👏
