I’m sure it’s been said, but this is quite a notable fall season for UMass athletics so far.
Pop Watson & the football team are 3-0 in the program’s best start in well over a decade.
Women’s soccer is 9-1 & ranks 11th in NCAA RPI — a program best.
Oh, and field hockey (9-0) is ranked No. 4 in the latest Penn Monto/NFHCA D-1 National Coaches Poll, only behind Northwestern, Maryland & Wake Forest.
