Read through the thread of tweets first thing this morning. First action as soon as I got to @RBNHSFT was to put an all staff note out to say keep hydrated, look after yourselves and your colleagues, take fluids regularly when needed. Our staff welfare is key to patient care.
With the hot weather I thought I’d ask a question: do you think it’s ok to see staff drinking at work in the Emergency Department? Eg when writing up their notes. Please answer if you are a member of NHS staff or a member of the public.
