Definitely one of those days when you can “smell the rain”… ☔️

. @SkyUK give me strength. The picture/sound sync is absolutely woeful on my Sky Glass. Not new, but getting worse. Why can’t you sort this issue out?? (Using Sky Broadband with it)

I have long said stamp duty is among our worst taxes. So what do we have? An increase for those buying second properties. You might think fine: a tax on rich people and landlords. But those looking to rent will pay part of the cost as fewer properties made available. I despair...

Any suggestion that Birmingham's art should be sold to help the city council balance its books is for the birds.
Arts & Culture is the lifeblood of Brum and the wider West Midlands. The sector needs protecting and growing, not sabotaging.

Incredible summer of sport comes to a close. It has been a privilege to cover so many emotional moments over the past few weeks and this closer by my brilliant @BBCSport colleagues, is the perfect way to say goodbye

Gusty Spinfield, our Glastonbury-regular, travelling pink wind turbine, is coming to London to power 🍔🧃 stands at @yourAllyPally outdoor gigs incl Kaleidoscope Festival in July!
Just days post Glasto, she’ll be up at Ally Pally. Wind isn’t just greener: it’s faster & cheaper.
Completely unfathomable and devastating.
How much money do these cultural organisations generate for Birmingham by way of their economic impact? There can't be many investments the city makes that have such a good return on investment?
Grants from Birmingham City Council to local arts organisations including Birmingham REP Theatre and Birmingham Royal Ballet will face 50% cuts this year and 100% cuts in the next financial year.

Possibly my favorite advert of all time. Crumbs. #IfCarlsbergDidPubTeams
A sad day. RIP Parky.

"What'd you leave her bum sticking out for?""
I think @peterkay_co_uk should know about this…. What a way to spend a idle afternoon in Brum.
