7 years ago today, the team from @GeorgiesGift reached the summit of Kilimanjaro raising £125000 for the charity on the way. #memories an annual reminder that life is precious 💕 and not to ever take it for granted.
Looking forward to some interesting presentations at the #NFCCAutumn Conference over the next two days. Great to see so many colleagues from up and down the Country, and even some from overseas, sharing International best practice.
Whilst the circumstances around this incident remain a tragedy beyond words, it’s pleasing to see our brave firefighters recognised for their heroic actions in sub zero temperatures. They did all they could to try and save the boys, and we’re all proud of them for their efforts
Several of our firefighters have been honoured with Chief Fire Officer’s commendations.
They include those who responded to Babbs Mill Lake, Kingshurst in December, for their attempts to save four boys who fell through ice.

20 years ago today I walked through the doors of @WestMidsFire and have never looked back. It’s gone in the blink of an eye, and loved every minute of it. I’ve met, and worked with so many incredible people during this time.
