We provided free CVD risks screening to ~ 300 people in my remote hometown of Jirapa, Ghana. >80% were 1st time BP checks. Many were hypertensive and were initiated on meds. Join us!

Three thoughts (As a current trainee and prior teacher):
✅ If you failed, I'm sorry. You've come really far just to take the test
✅ If pass rate is ~80% - 81% last year - test quality is poor and/or fellow education is poor. Either way, for a certification exam that's unacceptable. For context, Step 2 pass rate is 97%
✅ 9 weeks for result. Say they need time to check qs. If that's necessary the qs were poorly constructed to begin with. Consider above

Was surprised to see this - can it be true that @nejm is publishing sponsored content that looks like an article in its NEJM AI publication? I am curious how they are vetting content. How much does it cost to have a sponsored article? Or does that just mean it is open access?
