Elon Musk: AI is the Future of SpaceX #shorts

A $2.3 BILLION federal contract goes to Telesat, a company led by Mark Carney’s bestie Dan Goldberg.
Carney appoints his wife as Canada’s ocean envoy. Then comes a $1.2 BILLION announcement for ocean protection.
While Carney’s elite inner circle benefits from government contracts, who’s looking out for ordinary Canadians footing the bill?
Less permits are required to repurpose factory space than build new space. Tesla did the same move in California for the Optimus lines.
The future is autonomous. Eventually the only Tesla with a steering wheel will be the Roadster. But now I have a deadline to get a Cybertruck.

🇺🇸 Trump's coalition took TEN YEARS to build and ONE ELECTION to fall apart.
I spoke with Robert Wolf, former UBS Americas chairman and longtime Obama adviser, just as the stock market was taking a brutal hit.
According to the figures we were watching, roughly $2.2 TRILLION in market value had disappeared in just 55 minutes.
But Robert was even more interested in what happened at the ballot box.
He believes Trump's midterm defeat exposed something much bigger than ordinary voter frustration.
The Hispanic voters, young men, working-class Americans and rural communities who helped elect Trump are turning against him.
Why? Because they were promised cheaper living costs and NO NEW WARS.
Instead, they're dealing with expensive fuel, tariffs, an Iran war and growing anxiety about AI data centers driving up electricity costs.
Robert, who's spent decades on Wall Street, thinks the administration has fundamentally misread what ordinary Americans care about.
We also discussed whether Trump might escalate the Iran war to rescue his legacy, and Robert offered a rather unconventional alternative.
Let Iran collect a temporary toll on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, with the proceeds helping rebuild the country.
He believes that could help reopen shipping and bring oil prices down, although the practical obstacles would be considerable.
And despite his Democratic background, Robert thinks Trump still has an opportunity to work with the new Congress on healthcare, immigration and AI regulation.
Trump's biggest political mistake wasn't simply starting a war, but abandoning the very promises that built his coalition.

🇺🇸 Despite Electing Democrats Statewide, Arizona Voters Approve Restrictions on Transgender Athletes in Girls' Sports
Arizona voters delivered a striking split verdict in Tuesday's midterms.
Democrats won the governorship and control of the state legislature, while nearly 59% of voters backed Republican-sponsored Proposition 318.
The measure expands restrictions on transgender participation in girls' sports and requires access to school bathrooms and locker rooms to be based on sex recorded at birth.
The result highlights an important distinction in American politics: Voting for Democratic candidates does not necessarily mean supporting every Democratic policy position.

🇺🇸 Missouri Democratic state Rep. Anthony Ealy, 32, has been arrested less than 24 hours after winning a 3rd term reelection with 68% of the vote.
Police say Ealy threatened to kill a man, allegedly referenced having a gun, and was arrested following reports of a disturbance in Jefferson City.
Prosecutors have charged him with assault and disturbing the peace.

What now, Texas?
Asked Grok to list all projects by Tesla and SpaceX in Texas, where they stand (i.e. locked permits, pending and announced, see three charts) and for those that are not locked, who can slow them now.
Strongest near-term state levers for a new Democratic governor:
- Starbase's TCEQ air/water permits (especially gas turbines and data-center cooling) and ERCOT/PUC interconnection or grid-policy guidance
- Tesla's Crystal Sun project - JETI/Chapter 312–381 incentives still requiring final state sign-off
Chip fabs and pure manufacturing (Terafab Phase 1, Megafactory, solar cells) are generally less exposed than pure AI data centers.

REMEMBER: CANADA HAS *NO* GOLD RESERVES
We are the ONLY G7 country with ZERO gold reserves.
--> NOW, WANT TO BE *REALLY* PISSED OFF?
Ukraine has 27.37 tonnes of gold valued at roughly $3.5–3.7 billion USD.
AND CANADA HAS GIVEN THEM +$26 BILLION IN FINANCIAL WAR AID!!
Ukraine are buying & hoarding gold --> and NOT using it to pay for their war!!!
WHY THE FUCK ARE WE SUPPORTING THE UKRAINE WAR EFFORT WHEN *CLEARLY* THEY HAVE FUNDS??
(And winter is coming - Zelenskyy will be showing up AGAIN asking for more $$$ when Carney JUST gave them another $778 million!!)

The Tesla-SpaceX merger delivers more shots at goal sooner.
SpaceX’s near-term growth potential could offset dilution for Tesla shareholders while preserving Tesla’s long-term upside. A merger would combine complementary revenue streams, including data centers and AI, creating significant opportunities for growth and profitability.
Prepare for two years of political theater.
BUT grandstanding politicians cannot actually hurt Elon Musk or Tesla or SpaceX.
♦️The President is still the President. He controls the executive branch and has veto power (and pardon power).
♦️Texas is purple, and every Tesla and SpaceX project went through the normal local hearings and permitting processes. The permits were approved because the local residents and officials saw the economic advantage of the jobs.
♦️Markets will stabilize as they realize that this harms other companies more than Tesla and SpaceXSI - which always have a good relationship with local communities. The fundamentals have not changed. Tesla and SpaceXSI can operate independently of the grid if need be.
They will accelerate, not slow down.

🚨 BREAKING: Gov. Ron DeSantis says because Texas just got a Democrat Attorney General, THEY WILL TARGET ELON MUSK
Elon is welcome in Florida! ☀️
"I think about Elon Musk! I guarantee you they will do that."
"Having the Gigafactory there, it's gonna be problematic for him. The political hostility is VERY strong."
"It could have been nobody was left standing given how bad that election was. We're left standing and I know not only Byron, but James, and Blaise and Wilton...they've got a lot of responsibility to make sure that we're living up to the great success."
