Coach Aranda will always hold a special place in my heart. While facing the uncertainty of Josh's recruitment not going as we hoped, he assured me that my son as a PWO would be given equal opportunity to compete. Coach Aranda never backed away from that promise & his perferred walk-on WR earned a scholarship in year 1, and eventually became a starter & captain on the team.
This is a tough business and winning absolutely matters. Coach understands that, and I have no doubt that he'll continue onward & upward into his next opportunity. God bless you, Coach Aranda and thank you for being part of Josh's journey. Sic'em Bears 💚💛🙏🏾
I’m so so sorry! They “sold” my tickets (to a concert) for less than I listed and then argued with me that they had done nothing wrong. My best advice is take pictures of everything. Document everything if you choose to use this god-awful service. #StubHub
Everyone is talking about Stubhub failing Brewers fans yesterday and it happened to me too. I had tickets with family and friends, and they hadn't sent the tickets until the last minute. They sent me DIFFERENT SEATS They called it an "upgrade" but the tickets were NOT an upgrade
In fact, at the moment in which they sent me tickets there were BETTER tickets available for LESS money, and the seats they called an upgrade we're right behind the media pit so you would have GIANT cameras obstructing the entire view. I knew this because I've sat before.
In the end, they told me to pound sand and to "take it or leave it"
As a fan, you don't even have any recourse in situations like this and they know it. I had purchased the tickets over a week a head of time, in order to sell a ticket on @StubHub you MUST upload the original, so it had to be in their inventory
so they robbed me of a once in a lifetime opportunity to enjoy the game with friends and family, and that's not great service for a company ROBBING over $2000 in "fees" for 2 tickets to a baseball game

Imagine being a kid, a HUGE @Brewers fan, and finding out you’re going to see your team play in the WORLD SERIES! ⚾️💙💛
The excitement. The anticipation. The memories you’re already imagining making.
Now imagine having that excitement ripped away because a company sold your 3 tickets that you bought, that they apparently can’t deliver.
That’s exactly what we’re dealing with right now.
We purchased THREE tickets to the Milwaukee Brewers World Series for Game 1 last Tuesday(13th) through StubHub. We selected our section, our row, paid for our tickets, and received our order confirmation.
Everything was supposed to be set.
Then suddenly, StubHub tells us they’re “searching for replacement options” because they can’t provide the tickets we purchased.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
How does a company accept someone’s hard earned money, confirm a purchase, and then turn around and say they can’t fulfill it?!
And their solution? We can request a refund while they continue looking for tickets.
THIS ISN’T ABOUT THE MONEY.
It’s about the experience. It’s about the memories. It’s about the excitement of a kid, his dad, and grandpa, who thought they were going to watch their favorite baseball team play on the biggest stage in baseball.
Look at the first picture. That’s the disappointment you’re creating, StubHub.
A refund doesn’t replace that moment.
And here’s what really bothers me…
StubHub advertises a “FanProtect Guarantee” and tells customers their orders are “100% guaranteed.”
Guaranteed WHAT, exactly?!
Because from where we’re sitting, that guarantee doesn’t feel worth much when you can’t deliver the tickets you sold us.
We did everything right. We purchased through a major ticket marketplace. We trusted the confirmation. We trusted the guarantee.
Now it’s time for StubHub to make it right.
We aren’t asking for anything extra. We want the three tickets we paid for, or comparable or better seats together, at no additional cost.
Stubhub…DO BETTER.

I visited the Eagle’s Nest a few years ago, along with the nearby Berghof site and its extensive underground tunnel network. Hitler spent roughly a third of his time in power at the Berghof, which is nearby but separate from the Eagle’s Nest itself. It may be a dark chapter of history, but it is history nonetheless, and it is certainly not for some arsonist to decide to deprive everyone else of it.
What struck me most about the Eagle’s Nest was the incredibly elaborate elevator built straight into the mountain. It is an absolute marvel of engineering, but what I kept thinking about while standing there was the sheer vanity and sycophancy behind it all. Imagine pouring that much money, manpower, and engineering ingenuity into an extravagantly elaborate mountaintop retreat, just to please Hitler on the occasion of his 50th birthday.
Please do this ASAP! I recently got screened and made my husband get screened as well.

Proud of him. Jesse didn't have a real "Signing Day" experience. Everything happened so fast. It's exciting to see him have this moment at his high school.
The last signing day, he watched his friends. He created his own moment.

My father has never hugged me.
Not when I was born. Not at my graduation. Not when I left home.
That's normal for a Japanese father his age. Love is a full gas tank when you visit. A bag of oranges handed over without a word.
Last month, my friend from Texas came to dinner at my parents' house. When it was time to go, he did what Texans do.
He hugged my mother.
Then he turned around and hugged my father.
My father froze. Arms straight down. Like a soldier being hugged by a bear.
Three seconds. Nobody breathed.
After he left, my father sat at the table for a long time. Then he said:
"In America… do they do that with their fathers too?"
"Every time," I said.
He nodded. That was all.
Two weeks later, I went home for dinner. When I was leaving, my father stood up, walked to the door, and put his arms around me.
Badly. Like he was assembling furniture with no instructions.
I'm over forty. It was the first time.
He let go, looked at the floor, and said, "Drive safely."
My mother told me later he'd been practicing on the dog.

We were having dinner out & my 8 year old son saw a news report about someone who had been "murdered" on one of the screens. It clearly scared him (I wish we didn't put dead bodies in street on local news).
On the drive home, he told me was feeling scared and asked if we could pray. So we did and rebuked the spirit of fear in Jesus' name. It's always amazing when either of my sons respond to a hard situation with prayer.
Probably 10 minutes later, he said the prayer really worked and he wasn't feeling scared anymore.
"That's because you just did Proverbs 15:29, son," I told him.
And then this dadgum kid stinkin' recites the verse off the dome: "The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous." 😱
My eyes started sweating and all I could manage to get out was, "LET'S GO, BOY!"
I don't know how I would even begin to manage fatherhood without the perfect Father to help me do it.
