Quando comecei o Explorador, o objetivo era simples, trazer transparência ao imobiliário português e combater a especulação.
Não faz sentido comprar uma casa de 400 mil euros sem saber quanto custam realmente as casas naquela zona.
A informação existe. Só faltava torná-la acessível a todos.

O anúncio diz uma coisa, a escritura diz outra. 🚨
Num T2 em Lisboa, pede-se mais 77 mil € do que se paga.
Em Portugal, as casas usadas estão anunciadas 17% acima do preço.

My bank deletes my statements after 3 months. To get my data afterwards, I have to send them a letter. And they send me print outs. And charge me €28. FOR. MY. OWN. DATA. This is some boomer mafia type BS extortion business model. Insane.

i see a future in which we will ditch phones and computers, and the never ending scrolling, as ai gets better and takes on different forms

While I'm all for improving the way CSD-based assets can be owned elsewhere, this announcement by DTCC is misleading. Given their choice of permissioned Besu or permissioned Canton, these assets are TINO: They are Tokens in Name Only.
Permissioned networks offer none of of the benefits or protections of an actual blockchain. Their use of consensus and cryptography is mostly performative. To see the technical reasons why, you can read my paper linked below.
The DTCC is of course free to use whatever database format that it wants. But conflating these assets with actual tokens is both misleading and dangerous.
A permissioned network offers none of the robustness or investor protections of an actual blockchain. It is at best an unregulated clearinghouse, and history has taught such infrastructure is dangerous.
You can either be regulated by code and cryptography, or you can be regulated by rules and regulations. Best pick one and stick to it.
The DTCC Tokenization Service is now live, and this is only the beginning.

most of projects that did multi million dollar tges in recent years either stopped building or are wondering where to launch a new project
billions in capital turned to trash bc of these bad actors and ~everyone looked other way just to grab a small slice of pie

WTF, $3000 Samsung TV has an always-on mic, automatic content recognition, geo tracking, network mapping, and ships your data to Samsung + 400 partners.
Bro Rooted a brand-new 2025 Samsung TV after noticing absurdly targeted ads.
Firmware was locked down, so zero-days it was.
Got a root shell.
then found: always-on voice service, ACR, geo, full telemetry pipeline, and four separate DRM systems.
This isn’t a bug, It’s the product bro.

They should release this jailbreak. Apple has no right to force iPhone users through App Store rules just to install an app on a phone they own. When your product is used by over a billion people, it shouldn't have god-admins.

in 1610 a professor refused to even look through Galileo's telescope. a lot of AI opinions are based on exactly the same amount of looking

this is the anti-fragility approach, whereas there are some that would gate-keep math and other public knowledge systems from public reach for their own protection.

over the next 5yrs, the probability of a us debt crisis and the probability of any individual tech company getting existentially disrupted by ai are materially higher than the probability of ai/quantum breaking crypto
so sell ur btc, but sell it into what? cash and bonds that are going to 0? or tech companies facing existing threats while also in a giant reflexive bubble? or yet something else that u did 2hrs of “due diligence” and convinced urself u understand?
the point is, if u r spooked by the ai/quantum risk and sold ur coins, u r almost certainly misjudging magnitude of this risk vs the risks of other assets u r sold ur coins into.

You want to know why politicians are all speaking up now?
They're afraid they're going to lose power and AI will enable people to find out all their dirty secrets.
If they regulate powerful AI away from the common people, then the rich and powerful will have a boot on our necks.
This isn't about safety, it's about the only thing humans truly care about: power and control

The pseudointellectuals being the most terrified of intelligence tells you way more about them than anything else.

The political discourse around AI itself has become AI slop.
Data centers use all the water? False, paper retracted. Closed weight models are a matter of national security? False, and the open weights are already nearly as good and widely available. The PR around Anthropic was from a truly concerned employee? False, he was a political operative who worked there for two months doing a coordinated PR tour. The claims that AI "hacked" into competing companies independently? False, the sandbox was set up wrong and they were given instructions to do this.
Everyone from all sides here is just blasting maximum dishonesty.
The mistake for most people would be to take a side; don't. The anti-AI doomers and the pro-AI boosters might both be evil.
