sometimes I win anyway. Maybe you did beat my generic defense, but you didn't convert hard enough. Or I converted my stray hits really hard, and win anyway. The game is so fast that thinking actively is a luxury that you usually can't afford, and we're good at intuitively (3/x)

figuring out when we HAVE to turn the brain on to win. If you never cross enough thresholds to force thinking mode, people usually haven't reflected on the match enough to give specific advice. For them, it was just tuesday.
