He campaigned & was elected on 2 major points:
1. Getting a better trade deal than what Canada currently had
2. Lowering food costs
HE HAS FAILED MISERABLY AT BOTH.
(He didnโt proactively cancel anything - he pulled the plug before the U.S. could so as to try and save face - he was going to tank the talks all along at the end.)

The Welsh govt is in the process of introducing legislation to allow for the removal of politicians who lie to the public.
The rules would allow for suspension/disqualification of MPs and election candidates found guilty of deliberate deception.

People need to stop focusing on Pierre and turn their attention to the sleaziness of the Liberals and how they attempted to gain a majority. What did Carney offer, behind the scenes, to bring these people over? Marilyn G encouraged the truckers to continue their protest, she stood in Parliament and berated Carney for what he was doing to the country and she signed a petition that anyone contemplating crossing the floor must resign for a by-election. What kind of morals and integrity does this woman have to abandon her principles? She is classless. She was elected 4 times as a Conservative and suddenly has a vision that the Liberals are better. No way. She was bought somehow. What was she promised? What kind of party accepts an MP like her? The Liberals who will do anything to keep power. She may be happy there but in the next election, her constituents will boot her to the street.
