This is unfortunate
Jorge Posada was asked if he thinks he could improve the Yankees "unacceptable" behaviors by bringing his fiery attitude and baseball instincts around the current team:
"I could, but I don't think they want me there. I don't feel welcome when I go there. Even in Spring Training... So I don't go."

For the capital they've given, this better work.
I will say he's been a bright spot in the limited action. Better than I expected.
Exclusive: While the Cowboys’ locker room chaotically moved around him last night after the win, CB Joey Porter Jr. sat still at his locker staring out into the fray.
For once, it was a time for him to just take in the moment.
“It’s just so unreal, so surreal. I can’t even really explain it. Sometimes it’s hard for me to be in the moment and realize what’s all going on because everything is moving so fast. I’m happy where I’m at. I’m happy where this team is headed.”

As I pointed out last night on NFL Monday Night Playbook, if there was ever an occasion where an offensive linemen deserved to be recognized as the player of the game, Tyler Smith of the #Cowboys should be awarded that distinction. He kicked everyone’s ass on the Eagles DL that he went against. Over and over and over and over and over and over….

"I believe there is a lack of confidence in Dak Prescott."
—@stephenasmith on the Cowboys' offensive woes 😳
He's right.
Troy Aikman postgame when asked if the Cowboys’ win Monday night in Philadelphia changes the way he sees the team: “Eh, not really. Not really. And I don’t mean that as a negative. I mean, this is a beat-up Philadelphia team. To come in here and win tonight, I mean, let’s not get carried away. They kind of did what you would expect them to do.”

"That's the matchup the Cowboys wanted. Cooper DeJean on CeeDee Lamb with no safety help!"

Good. He ain’t gotta be chatty with the media and I don’t need him to be personality guy. Do ya job

Still convinced there’s not a better QB in the NFL running the 2 min & no huddle than Dak.
The command he has in those situations is not normal…Cowboys need to lean into it more

Francisco Lindor on winning the 2026 Roberto Clemente Award and his emotional reflection on what The Great One and Vera Clemente would think of him now which follows with one of Roberto’s three sons Luis Clemente chiming in:
“I'm sure Mom and Dad are smiling at you right now because they know who you are and so deserving of this award. But beyond the award, they know you will forever stay the same.
I heard you this morning saying the most important thing for you was for your children to understand what life is about and about helping others always, and that's what matters to you the most. So with that being said, you're a true Clemente all the way.”
