Gary Mason on election interference: "There's one set of rules for them, and another set of rules for everybody else. And people are fed up with it. The rest of the world is fed up with it. And that's why the U.S. has become a pariah country. People don't like them. Canadians don't like them."

The world has changed. There is no way of denying it. The post-1945 world order based on the rule of law, alliances and trust no longer can be relied upon.
Canada must reinvest in our own security and we must develop new values based alliances.
We are well positioned to lead.

Insane mic drop by Ron DeSantis, the 46th governor of Florida.
"3.3 million visitors from Canada. That's not much of a boycott, in my book. Maybe they wanted to get a glimpse of what a Stanley Cup winning hockey team actually looks like."

Guess what Premiers are not attending the First Nations Meeting in Ottawa today?

Danielle Smith from Alberta
The Dork from B.C. (has not been sworn in)
Anyone surprised?

Next up: expensive privatized auto insurance, tax breaks for corporations, privatized health care, nods to bigotry, removal of rights.
Yay!
Bravo BC!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
What a great day for beautiful British Columbia, and all of Canada!
The worst government in Canada, and in BC history, has been completely repudiated.
David Eby’s divisive, hard left politics of envy kicked to the curb.
And a principled, serious, renewed Conservative Party given a huge mandate for change!
What a great sequel to Albertans’ rejection of separatism. Now we’ll have these two western powerhouses, plus Saskatchewan, aligned to build Canada into a global energy and resource super power! 🇨🇦💪🏼

I would say "social networks" are damaging intelligent civilization. We should have done something about this a long time ago.
These cons and hits keep dragging out the century project which had nothing to do with gov. Done group thought Canada would need to increase its population to thrive economically. Trudeau didn’t endorse it and Carney hasn’t either

Fox News is putting Nicki Minaj up telling people to vote red.
Let’s break that down.
Can Nicki Minaj vote? No.
She’s not a U.S. citizen.
Can Nicki Minaj’s husband vote? No, he’s a registered sex offender.
Can Nicki Minaj’s brother vote? No, he’s serving 25 years to life for child sexual assault.
She seems like the perfect spokesperson for MAGA republicans.

CPC uses edited clips of QP, showing only the staged rage farming performance of Poilievre, without showing the govt response. LPC should be running ads showing only the vulgar drowning out of ministers answering the questions. CPC is obstructing democracy. CDNs should see it.
Selling Alaska to Russia. Isn’t that enough treason, folks?
The Russia smell of this Alaska fossil fuel deal was so bad that even former Exxon people bailed from the company. The smell of Russia permeates the corrupt Trump administration. ft.com/content/e9cfbfbb-e65a…

I don't know much about Toronto politics, admittedly, but if the jackass CEO of Shopify is endorsing someone (and he is), vote for the other candidate.

Ralph Goodale on Pete Hoekstra: "He really should remember that his role has changed. He's no longer the Michigan politician. He's a diplomat and an ambassador, and he should behave in a diplomatic fashion that is respectable in the country in which he is located."

What is the rambling negative post even about?
This is yet another epic fail by Prime Minister @MarkJCarney, this time with the United Kingdom.
It comes as the same time as BOTH France and Germany don’t want Carney’s “Associate Membership” with the EU.
Which is especially embarrassing for Mr. Carney going into his EU Summit in Montreal.
After a ridiculous bid to build a Strategic Partnership with an obvious strategic rival in Türkiye.
All while Canadian workers are being laid off, uncertainty is killing our jobs, and costs rise in a stagnation economy.
Any of our friends in the mainstream press prepared to admit he’s not the negotiator they keep claiming he is?
“Britain has decided not to join a global defence bank spearheaded by Canada, as chancellor John Healey prepares to throw his weight behind a separate UK-led initiative to help fill a multibillion hole in the UK defence budget.
“Andy Burnham, UK prime minister, discussed Britain joining the Ottawa initiative with Mark Carney, his Canadian counterpart, last month after officials began exploring the proposal, as first reported by the FT.
“But on Sunday it was announced that the plan would not go ahead, a move which will be seen in some quarters as a snub to Carney and his attempt to forge closer ties among the world’s “middle powers”.”

It's crazy how many MAGA fools have a "cousin in Canada" who just happened to need medical care, just happened to go to the US to get it, and just happened not to know you can get private MRIs IN Canada as well.
Such a coincidence.
My cousin who lives in Canada seriously tore a leg muscle a few months ago and needed an MRI.
It was serious enough to require immediate attention, but not deemed an emergency. A month wait.
He crossed the border and got one in less than an hour for $400.
America has 3.5x the number of MRI machines per capita that Canada does.
