Neuralink is taking brain-computer technology to another level.
Elon Musk’s company has demonstrated a system that lets a person with severe speech impairment trigger a Grok AI agent, make phone calls and dictate messages using brain signals.
Even more interesting, Neuralink is developing technology that detects when someone intends to speak, eliminating the need to press a button to activate speech decoding.
One participant in its ALS study also achieved 75 words per minute using the implant during his first week.
We’re getting closer to a future where communicating with AI could require nothing more than a thought.

For me personally I feel Radiology will definitely be phased out. Computer reads are already demonstrating superior accuracy to humans, thus having a human read your images instead of a computer will become unethical. There will be a transition period, but the accuracy of the technology will rapidly improve, rendering the human radiologist obsolete

My girlfriend had a habit of turning her phone face down whenever she came home. She rarely checked it again until the next morning.
At first, I didn't think much of it. But after eight months of living together, it started bothering me.
One evening, I finally asked her about it.
Me: “Why do you always turn your phone over when you get home?”
Her: “It's just a habit. I don't want to spend the whole evening checking notifications.”
Me: “It sometimes feels like you're hiding something.”
She looked at me for a moment.

I still remember that Saturday night during my early years of college. I was sharing a small off campus apartment with my roommate and close friend, Chris. His girlfriend, Jenna, usually spent weekends with us, so the three of us had become comfortable around each other.
That evening, we were watching a movie, eating pizza, and sharing a bottle of whiskey. Chris had invited a girl from his economics class, Ivy, over earlier, but she had already left.
After a while, Jenna joined us on the couch. We joked around and talked while the movie played in the background.
At some point, she started teasing us about how comfortable we were around each other.
Then she looked at us and asked, "Have you two ever wondered what it would be like if the three of us crossed that line?"
I laughed because I thought she was joking. Chris looked surprised too, but Jenna was serious.
Chris asked if she was being serious.
We talked about it for a while and made sure everyone was comfortable with the idea. Honestly, I expected Chris to reject it, but he seemed surprisingly open to it.

My wife confessed that she had been seeing another man whenever she travelled for work.
Instead of asking for a divorce, she asked me to meet him.
I thought she was joking.
Me: “You want me to meet the man you’ve been sleeping with?”
Wife: “Yes. There’s something you need to understand about our arrangement.”
Me: “What arrangement? You’re married to me. What exactly am I supposed to understand?”
Wife: “Please, just hear me out. He’s not who you think he is.”
Me: “Then who is he?”
She looked nervous.
Wife: “I can’t explain everything until you meet him.”
I refused immediately.
Me: “I’m not interested in meeting another man to discuss what happened between you two.”
Wife: “You’re making a mistake. This affects you too.”
That caught my attention.
Me: “How does a man you’ve been seeing on business trips affect me?”
She lowered her voice.
Wife: “Because he believes you already know him.”
I stared at her.
Me: “I’ve never heard of this man before today.”
She insisted that I meet him, so after hours of arguing, I reluctantly agreed.
We arranged to meet at a quiet restaurant the following afternoon.
