Could you imagine being the #1 team in the country, losing to an unranked 2-2 team, and only dropping 6 spots in the polls? My mind cannot even fathom the grace given to teams simply because they play in the SEC. A big 12 team would be BLASTED for such a loss.

Seven games a year for me, the wife and a couple of grandkids, from Dallas to Lubbock. Sometimes after school on Friday, sometime bright and early on Saturday. Doesn’t matter who we are playing, I’m there for Tech.

Maybe my view is skewed because I went to school where many alumni, including myself, routinely drive 5.5-7 hours each way for a game. Shit last season my wife and I drove 11 hours in total with our 3 year old just so we could go watch Tech beat the shit out of Oklahoma State
