Meanwhile, Somalia’s Defense Minister Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, speaking from Mogadishu, urged Somalis living in the United States to mobilize to violently defend Ilhan Omar (also known by her birth name Ilhan He said fraud investigations into Omar are attacks on the Somali community and called on Somali migrants to defend her because they share blood, language, culture, and heritage. The same accounts described her as Machiavellian and duplicitous, reserving a more hardline, ethno-nationalist posture for Somali audiences. The song contains defiant, boastful language about enemies being unable to approach, trampling them if it would not anger God, punishing them, and planting resentment.
