My biggest pet peeve is when someone gives advice about audio, AND IT'S WRONG ahh
With a degree in Post Production (editing) and 10 years working in the industry for tv, my advice is...
Audio Mixer OBS:
Voice: -5db (THE RED ZONE IS GOOD, never get to 0)
Game: between -20db & -15db (Yellow)
Music: between -45db & -35db (Low Green)
People saying never to put audio in the red zone in OBS are flat out wrong. You want to avoid distortion, which is when it peaks at 0 and above, but your voice should be louder than the game.
Hope this helps!

Battlefield 6: Stream Snipers Can Now Receive VAC Bans
Battlefield 6’s latest anti-cheat update expands enforcement beyond traditional cheating software. Players engaging in the following behaviors may face penalties, including VAC bans on Steam:
- Stream sniping
- Match manipulation
- Win-trading
- Team sabotage
- Vehicle spawn blocking
- Collusion with players on the opposing team
- Targeted harassment of streamers and content creators
Battlefield 6 uses new machine learning systems to detect these offenses by identifying repeated patterns of disruptive behavior.
Enforcement focuses on repeated and intentional behavior patterns rather than isolated incidents. Confirmed offenders can receive both Battlefield-specific punishments and VAC bans visible on their Steam profiles.

RE: StreamElements
To get everyone on the same page, here's a breakdown on what's happening, because rumors always travel further and faster in a vacuum.
Earlier today, there was an initial rumor that StreamElements was laying off all staff and shutting down. I heard this secondhand from a trusted source, but, like any rumor, it was not confirmed; it was merely a starting point. (I personally require at least two independent sources to confirm a story, as individuals can make mistakes or misinterpret the facts, especially if there's a reason that might make it personal.)
Since then, this single source has repeated this story to everyone in his StreamElements Sponsorship Discord (not the official one), and as such, it has been shared as a rumor widely across streamer Twitter. Yes, he does work for StreamElements as a Creator Success Manager. So, he does have credibility. At the same time, I have attempted to get secondary confirmation from anyone at StreamElements - but have been unable to. Every person I have spoken to about this (creators, former SE staff, media people) has the same source... the person mentioned above.
Now that said, let's talk contributing factors:
1. StreamElements continues to be silent on the matter.
2. They have been slow to pay users in recent weeks.
3. They seem to have been removed from Twitch's Third Party sponsorship offers.
4. They have been soliciting donations to keep the service free.
5. They have had numerous layoffs over the last few years, and more have left of their own volition in the last few months.
On the other hand, it's unusual to simply shut down a service with hundreds of thousands of users without first becoming a paid service. Or maybe just shutting down part of the service and focusing wholly on the sponsorship side. Either way, it's unusual.
This entire thing is unusual. And while the rumors may end up being true, I don't feel confident saying that yet. As I said, my standard is at least two independent confirmations - more is better. I always prefer being right to being first.
That said, given the situation as presented, it may still be worthwhile to ensure any SEPay money is requested, and you may want to download your alerts (or move to an alternative, such as Streamlabs. Disclosure: I have a partnership with them - but an easy link to do so is attached below.)
If I learn more before StreamElements addresses it publicly themselves, I will share whatever facts I can confirm.

Nvidia is investigating reports of gaming issues (black screen and artifacts) after the Windows 11 January 2026 Update (KB5074109).
In a forum post, Nvidia staff confirmed reports of artifacts in certain games.
"Even though it started after a Windows 11 update, we are looking into it. As far as I know, the only way to resolve it appears to be uninstalling KB5074109," staff wrote.
On the other hand, the black screen issue, which we first found in our tests, has already been addressed in the optional update (KB5074105).
"This update addresses black screen issues in isolated multiuser environments, typically after a Windows upgrade," Microsoft confirmed in the release notes of KB5074105.
Im not part of this community, but I HATE when people get caught cheating and pull the "i just have really high standards for myself 🥺"
No, you dont.
If you held yourself to a high standard you wouldnt have cheated. Cheating is for losers.
You cheated because youre a loser.
Hey guys, I need to apologize.
In my last three clip dumps I had some clips that had aim assist.
Some of them were using a program called rewasd, which lets you play mnk with aim assist. This was a really stupid thing to do and a massive mistake but it also came from a place of not understanding the full consequences of my actions and placing impossible standards on myself, trying to always be the fastest or flashiest and constantly trying to get gameplay.
Ive got thousands of hours of clips of me on mnk and controller across many diff games on my socials and streams and while it sounds silly no matter how much I improve its never been enough. Doing what I did reflects poorly on not only me,but also those around me and this community. I wanna apologize to you guys as well for that and its the reason im making this post, to take accountability.
When I first tried it I was just looking for a way to live up to the standards I put on myself, and in my head, it was different than cheating. But when Laura and June came to me and called me on it, that's when I realized what I was doing. It didn't click to me right away that what I did was wrong because it "wasn't using aimbot or wallhacks". I understand now, and I'm so sorry for letting you down. If you can't support me anymore I totally understand.
Ive also left RIN and wish them nothing but the best theyre full of great aimers and great people. Those 3 clip dumps are the only instance of having aim assist clips and I will never use or post anything about it again and promise everything else ive ever posted is native mnk.
If you made it this far thanks for reading and I wanted to add a specific apology to both Laura and June. They both came to me and called me out on it which would have been hard to do to a friend. I respect you both and the friendship we had has been great and i know youlI both do great things with rin.
I will be taking a break from social media because it has been stressing me out way more than it should, and ive been having my mental health decline stressing over numbers and feeling like i HAVE to post or make videos or if i dont get xx engagements im The Worst Human. Not to mention staring at a screen from morning to evening and not touching grass is affecting both my physical and mental health.
I love playing video games and always have and I just want to get that spark back again and not have it feel like work or be constantly disappointed in my own performance. Much love - jadey ❤️
