Youths in Enugu State have taken to the Government House to protest the death of a young man popularly known as “Stone,” who was reportedly shot de@d by allegedly anti-cult operatives yesterday during his birthday celebration in Obiagu, Enugu State.
During the protest, demonstrators were heard chanting, “Anti-cult wants to finish us,” as they called on the state government to investigate the circumstances surrounding his de@th.
The protesters also recalled the death of popular Ogene singer Igbo-Jah, who was sh0t by an anti-cult operative in October 2024.
They called on Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah to intervene and ensure that the circumstances surrounding Stone’s de@th are thoroughly investigated.
Meanwhile, the Enugu State Police Command is yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
