As we approach 9/11, remember this folks: 3 of the 19 hijackers had overstayed their non-immigrant visas. None had a criminal history.
By DHS’ current definition, none of them, not those 3, not the other 16 once they overstayed, would be called the “worst of the worst.”
I’ve heard Secretary Mullin, Tom Homan, and CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott say they, for unknown reasons, wanted to turn down the temperature.
Did these gatekeepers forget how high the temperature was turned when those towers came down?

The current application process companies use is DEMORALIZING.
Corporate recruiters don’t have to screen resumes anymore. They just look at the match score the Applicant Tracking System provides and schedule interviews if the manager wants to.
Which means you have to tailor your resume for each position to get through the ATS before anyone will look at your resume.
So you run the job description and your resume through AI to give you a match score and recommendations. You add key words, then run it again until you’re above 90%.
Then you click apply. The system asks you to fill in a form with each job title, duration, company name, and job description from your resume, add degrees and certifications, tell them your race/ethnicity & disability status, and submit.
Then a few days later, you get the rejection notice. “Unfortunately, we selected another candidate. We encourage you to apply for other positions with us.”
Doubtful anyone looked at your resume. The position was posted publicly for EEO compliance, but it was for an existing employee’s promotion.
Rinse and repeat for every opening you find.
