I have a theory that because the NBA changed the shot clock reset off an offensive board from 24 seconds to 14, we started to see more and more injuries. There’s 3+ MORE minutes of straight action because of it. That change happened in 2018. Look at this chart.

This is literally recorded data. They are running more miles than ever before while playing at the fastest recorded pace. That show development doesn’t work either because up until the 80s players played in converse and had less injuries.

The WNBA decision to move game 6 of the finals to 12:30 PM Thursday will have an impact on its media coverage. USA Sports says that the game will not simulcast on CNBC, as its other games are (it will be during market hours). Instead it will simulcast on E! and Syfy.
