Yeah definitely not any good options I think on the roster as a whole. And I don’t think you’re wrong at all DJ, AR or Riley. To me they all stink. To me it’s just like the undying loyalty and unequal accountability and out of sequence decision making that truly boggles my mind.

Perhaps Steichen not playing Richardson is a way of showing the fans “this guy doesn’t show up and prepare the way Jones does”. Steichen trusts the process within his system, so he wants a QB who is also capable of understanding and working with it.
I truly think Steichen just doesn't feel like he can trust Richardson anymore in how he prepares or in how he's not reliable. He's willing to trust Jones cause he's dependable, even tho he is playing terribly now

I remember the days where Jonathan Taylor would house these runs without a single soul within 5 yards of him. This run was also his longest of the season at 38 yards. His prior long for 2026 was 24 yards. #Colts homers will say he hasn’t lost a step, though. #ForTheShoe
JONATHAN TAYLOR TRADE SUITORS WASSUP???

The NFL and whole football world know your character too, Anthony. Enjoy working at your local Krogers, if you’re able to make it to your shifts on time. #Colts
Colts QB Anthony Richardson Sr. on his marijuana possession charge: "I know my character, God knows my character, my family knows me. So I don't need to explain anything else."

Seth McGowan is also a big reason why it’s ok to let JT go to a contender

Re: Jonathan Taylor Christian McCaffrey was traded midseason in 2022 for: 🏈 2023 2nd-round pick 🏈 2023 3rd-round pick 🏈 2023 4th-round pick 🏈 2024 5th-round pick CMC was 26 years, 4 months old with 3 full seasons left on his contract. Taylor is 27 years, 9 months old with 2 seasons left.

This was a fairly common result from Daniel Jones in 2025 when the Colts were losing in the final 2 minutes of games. Nothing new. He was never the answer. #Colts
just a brutal pick by daniel jones to end the colts chances

Any thought of starting Richardson won’t begin until the Cowboys week. That should be roughly the time that Steichen is fired (after the Jags loss). #Colts
That “Anthony Richardson Sr. will start for the Colts against the Jaguars” notification better hit my phone before Wednesday

Burrow since ‘21: Missed 16 games due to injury Lamar Jackson since ‘21: Missed 18 games due to injury. Only Burrow is labeled injury prone.

Immediately jumping to this conclusion is insane 💀 If Josh Allen had the injury issues Lamar has had of late and talking about “if I have to be a statue in the pocket I can’t do it”, I’d be saying the same thing about Allen. You’re just race baiting for clicks, brother.

It’s amazing how fast they went from fighting about how great Chris Ballard and the Colts were and how we were all dumb to immediately embrace the fire sale with firm conditions. A 30-year-old G is not gonna get you a first round Pick. Only colt fans have this delusional mindset
The lowest value I would trade each of the Colts likely trade candidates Taylor: 1st Nelson: 1st Buck: 3rd Downs: 3rd (idk if would do this even 😅) Stewart: 6th Ward: 6th

Justin Herbert, high-ankle sprain misses 0 seconds. Lamar Jackson, little ankle tweak, OUT for a 3rd straight game. ✍️

Herbert hasn’t really proven anything. He is one helluva talented QB, though. Everything is there, but his interest level in football is… questionable. If the Chargers get a top 3 pick, what’s to stop them from shopping Herbert, netting a few firsts and restarting? #Colts? 🤷🏼‍♂️
Fascinating debate broke out on the show thanks to caller LJ: If the 0-6 Chargers called and said Justin Herbert waived his no-trade & would cost a 1st & 3rd round pick would you do the deal? He averages $40mil/year for the next 3 years with an opt-out in 2029

Ladies and gentlemen, I hate to be the one to say it… Lamar Jackson’s run may have come to an end. He’s telling you, “if I have to do it from the pocket, I can’t do it.” He’s getting to an age and “mileage” point in his career where that athleticism is suddenly… gone.
Lamar Jackson talks about why he is out vs the Bengals: "I'm restricted. Like I can't really do what I do. So I'm not helping nobody if I can just go out there & be a statue & get hit. No positive. Like that's not helping my team at all. That's just me. I feel like I'm being selfish because it's about me at that point for me to get out there & be hurt. That's dumb." He also says he's "not even close to" his "full capability."

I don’t think this is true… However, it wouldn’t shock me if 2-3rd round picks is the max the #Colts get offered for Jonathan Taylor. Colts X would have a complete melt down, though.
🚨🚨REPORT: The #Vikings informed the #Colts they won’t offer more than two third round picks for Jonathan Taylor. Indianapolis is expected to search for a better deal but did not rule out taking Minnesota’s offer. Sunday’s game between the two teams at US Bank Stadium will play a major role in both sides decision. 🍿👀

I smoke weed nearly everyday. That isn’t the issue here. Had Richardson been at home smokin’ and somebody reported seeing it, whatever. Not even noteworthy. What’s getting him killed by the media is the illegal plates and he’s in a no tolerance state. Absolute bust of a player.
The details coming out of Anthony Richardson’s misdemeanor charge highlight the kind of decision-making that derails NFL careers. He was driving a Dodge Charger in Carmel, Indiana with expired plates that belonged to an entirely different car. When the officer smelled weed, Richardson reportedly admitted he smoked in the vehicle so his kids wouldn’t see him do it at home. Police searched the car, found a jar and 500mg THC gummies, gave him a summons, and let him walk. The issue here isn't the cannabis. The issue is that you were the No. 4 overall pick, you lost your starting job to Daniel Jones, your contract is winding down, and you’re driving around with illegal plates in a zero-tolerance state. Talent gets you drafted in the top five. Self-inflicted distractions are what push you out of the league.

I imagine this is the natural reaction of every NFL GM not named Chris Ballard when asking for a first for Jonathan Taylor.
If the Colts want a R1 pick back in a package for the right to pay $20m+/yr to a declining late-20s RB who isn’t good on pass downs and has a million miles on the odometer, you hang up the phone and move onto other possibilities.

For 1 single pick, the #Colts will give away draft capital and JT. This organization is a clown show 🤣🤡 instead of trading JT for a 2nd plus, they desperately want a first for…. What? A QB in an underwhelming class? Do you realize the amount of holes on this roster?
The Colts could net a 2027 1st-round pick for Jonathan Taylor, if they’re willing to attach a pick alongside him, per @RapSheet on @PatMcAfeeShow. If the market is strong enough for Taylor, which seems likely, they might add a pick and recoup a 2027 1st.
