Watched some film tonight and this kid just jumps off the page to me so I had to do a free eval: ☎️DAWG ALERT @ReginaldWard_ Name: Reginald “JuJu” Ward Height/Weight: 6’1 / 200 Class Year: 2028 School (State): Williamson High School (AL) Position: OLB/ATH STRATEGIC GUIDANCE Ward is a high-production, scheme-versatile linebacker who already delivers takeaway ability and run-game disruption as a rising junior. His combination of 4.5 speed, length, and instincts fits multiple front structures. PHYSICAL & TECHNICAL PROFILE At 6’1, 200 pounds with verified 4.5 speed and a 305-pound power clean, Ward presents a lean, explosive frame that still has room to add functional mass without sacrificing range. Film shows clean downhill trigger, ability to scrape and fill with proper leverage, and suddenness in open space. Hand usage is active on contact—he consistently sheds blockers at the point of attack and finishes!! Range and recovery speed allow him to cover tight ends and backs in space while his ball skills (6 interceptions as a sophomore) stand out; he tracks the ball cleanly and secures catches in traffic. Lateral agility and change-of-direction support both gap-and-a-half and true SIDELINE-to-sideline roles. Anchor is developing but shows functional strength against high-school interior pressure. Overall movement is fluid with minimal wasted steps, projecting well to modern hybrid linebacker packages that demand coverage integrity and pursuit speed. Strengths • Elite production and ball skills (113 tackles, 17 TFL, 6 INTs as a sophomore) • Explosive speed and range in pursuit • Reliable tackler with active hands and finishing ability • Demonstrated competitive toughness against quality Alabama 5A competition SCHEME FIT & PROGRAM IMPACT Best as an off-ball linebacker in 4-2-5 or 3-4 schemes that value speed and coverage versatility; also projects as a WILL/SAM hybrid or edge-to-off-ball mover. Immediate contributions on special teams and in nickel packages, with pathway to early defensive snaps and multi-year starter potential. Elevates tackling efficiency and takeaway numbers while providing roster flexibility. PROSPECT-CENTRIC LEVERAGE POINTS • Physical Profile – 6’1/200 frame with verified 4.5 speed and explosive power numbers • Scheme Versatility – Fits multiple front structures and hybrid roles with coverage range • Academic / Character Edge – Consistent work ethic and positive feedback from coaches on maturity • Immediate Program Impact – Special-teams ready with proven production transferable to early sub packages • Culture & Leadership Value – High-motor competitor who elevates practice standards and peer accountability FORWARD-LOOKING PROGRAM VALUE Ward offers a high-ROI developmental piece with two full high-school seasons remaining to refine strength and technique.
