13y old Khalil lost both legs in an Israeli bombing last April in Rafah. He arrived with his mom and sister today in Chicago to a cheering crowd to start his treatment through HEAL Palestine. He was greeted by Leyan, 14, who lost her legs in a #Gaza bombing last October and has been treated over the past five months in Chicago. Leyan is inspiring Khalil as he starts the same journey she has been on to learn walk again. Thank you Chicago community for supporting our kids. 🇵🇸✌🏻☮️
