Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove retweeted
California’s elections are transparent and secure.
I joined @RepKamlagerDove and my House colleagues for a tour of the LA County Ballot Processing Center.
Our elections happen in broad daylight. Anyone can visit the processing center and observe our election workers in action.
Yesterday, I organized a congressional delegation tour of the LA County Ballot Processing Center.
Here’s what we learned throughout our visit:
Prime Minister Netanyahu must immediately release all of the peaceful American and Israeli rabbis and activists who were detained during todays seasonal olive harvest in the West Bank.
The Israeli government should be focused on ending settler terrorism – not harassing those peacefully standing up for peace and justice.
I’ve been released from IDF custody with a “warning,” apparently because of my public profile (I told them I wasn’t even a congressmember yet, just a nominee).
But several dozen rabbis & participants harvesting olives with me are still in detention. For harvesting olives. They should all be released immediately.
To be clear: Palestinians face far worse consequences every day. These detentions by the IDF are one more attempt to undermine Palestinians’ right to harvest their olive groves, travel on their roads, and live in their homes. Yet one more element of escalating, and very clearly state-sponsored ethnic cleansing.
We’ll update on their status as soon as we hear.
Need more proof that ICE is targeting and brutalizing people based on the color of their skin, not their immigration status?
This isn’t public safety. It’s racial profiling and unprovoked terror. ICE must be stopped and held accountable.
A U.S. citizen was hospitalized with serious injuries after federal immigration agents reportedly used a Taser on him during a violent detention in Long Beach on Saturday, sparking outrage among neighbors and local elected officials. ktla.com/news/local-news/us-…
Today, I organized a tour of the Los Angeles County Ballot Processing Center with my @HouseDemocrats colleagues and state lawmakers.
What we saw reinforced what we know to be true: LA County’s election process is transparent, and we’re working to ensure free and fair elections in November.
Make your voice heard. Vote by November 3!
Once again, currying favor with his favorite dictator at Ukraine’s expense. This administration cannot be trusted to hold Putin accountable, which is exactly why I voted against the Graham Act.
The United States must stand firm with our ally Ukraine. Trump cannot continue betraying the Ukrainian people and undermining their fundamental right to determine their own future.

Medicare's open enrollment period is officially live.
For those 65 or older, open enrollment runs from October 15 to December 7. I encourage you to compare your options carefully and consider the coverage that best meets your health and financial needs.
Visit medicare.gov or call 1-800-MEDICARE for more information.
Under Trump, too many seniors aren’t getting the support they need.
That’s why my team and I stopped by the YWCA Greater Los Angeles Senior Center to talk about how our office can help them navigate Social Security.
I’ll keep fighting to keep our community informed and help put more money back into their pockets, one Help Desk 37 presentation at a time.
This is INHUMANE.
Just like my constituent Ricardo, ICE has given Oscar in New York nothing but ibuprofen to treat the gunshot wound they inflicted on him.
No one should be denied lifesaving medical care while in government custody.
Congress must pass my Stop ICE’s Medical Neglect Act to ensure our community members in detention receive the medical treatment they need.

Trump’s lackeys are dropping like flies this week 👀
Like many congressional offices across the country, my district office received mail containing a suspicious substance today.
My staff and I are safe. I’m grateful to local and federal law enforcement for their swift response and efforts to keep our community safe.
Violence and intimidation have no place in our democracy. No one should ever have to fear for their safety simply for doing their job.
My office remains committed to serving the people of the 37th District. We will not be deterred by threats.
I’m horrified by the attempted mass shooting at a Hindu temple in Aurora. No one should ever be targeted because of their faith. Hate has no place in this country, and we all have a responsibility to confront it whenever and wherever it appears.
I’m deeply grateful that my colleague, his family, and everyone at the temple are safe. My heart is with the people of Aurora and with Hindu and South Asian communities during this frightening time.
What Tubi Avengers special will they star her in next??

My heart aches for the Silver Rail Elementary School and Bend, Oregon community. No child or teacher should ever have to worry about their safety at school.
I’m praying for the precious lives lost, the families grieving, and everyone forever changed by this senseless tragedy.
This cannot be the reality our children live with.
Congress must act to protect our communities and prevent another family from experiencing this heartbreak.

I'm on the way to conduct oversight at the Adelanto detention center with my @HouseDemocrat colleagues.
We know the Trump Administration has lied to us about conditions in these facilities, so we're showing up unannounced to collect receipts.
Follow along for updates.
