Weird how the gas price map of the US is like the inverse of the political map of the US. Hmm. Probably nothing!

.@TroyJackson207 supported the policies that increased energy costs more than 70%. He supported the reckless spending that led to Maine's billion dollar budget shortfall. Read my latest in @bangordailynews about why voters shouldn't let him take this same failed agenda to DC.

“The housing crisis is real. We should treat it like it was a flood.” Vermont needs urgency on housing and lasting reforms to the systems driving education costs. Raising taxes and fees alone won’t solve those problems. Reelecting Governor Scott keeps experienced leadership focused on reform, fiscal responsibility, and affordability. Electing legislators willing to work with him gives that work the support it needs. To hear more Vermonters thoughts click here: youtu.be/NJLyfOPHnCs?si=XsDA…

Lt Governor @JohnRodgersVT has been a champion for ALL Vermonters. To make Vermont affordable and prosperous we have to put partisan politics to the side to solve the affordability crisis.

Friends, I could really use some help. A large group of Amish builders from Ohio are spending the next FIVE MONTHS fixing homes damaged by Hurricane Helene for FREE in Western North Carolina and South Carolina. There's just one problem... the Amish don't drive, so they need drivers to take them back and forth to job sites and drop off trailers (if you have a truck). I have already volunteered to help, but we need more volunteers. If you feel led and are in the area, there's a sign up sheet in the comments. You'll get free breakfast and free dinner too + you'll get to meet some of the heroes who have been working here to rebuild.

Election Day in Brazil is on Sunday. Look at this energy in the streets right now. What we are witnessing in South America is the total rejection of Communist tyrants and the embrace of freedom. Time for the people of Brazil to take their country back.

“We’re finally making progress.” Education reform takes difficult decisions and the commitment to see them through. In this video, you’ll hear why continuing that work matters and why Vermont needs leaders willing to work through partisan divisions. Reelecting Governor Scott means keeping his experience and independent judgment focused on lasting improvements for students and manageable costs for taxpayers. Government works better when all lawmakers have to listen, negotiate, and consider different viewpoints. Governor Scott says Republican gains brought more balance to Vermont’s legislature and gave his priorities a seat at the table. Now, he’s focused on protecting those seats and building on that progress.

VHFA data shows that 13% of all habitable year-round properties are held by out-of-state owners, and 6% are held by Vermonters who live in another town. We know that many camps and cottages have been in Vermont families for generations. These are properties that are likely not fit for year-round habitation, but they could easily be caught up in a "second home" tax depending on how that line is drawn. This is why it is so important to set clear goals for what we are trying to accomplish with any sort of surcharge on "second homes." campaignforvermont.org/octob…
