My latest @NatCounterPunch assessing the opportunities and challenges of organizing a left politics among Asian Americans. This topic, I feel, still isn’t as explored as it should be. I include insights from left organizers that I think are amazing.

Why are all of these Black liberal politicians so silent about Kohen Wiley’s murder? They trip over themselves to come out and fiercely condemn “antisemitism” but can’t say a damn word about a Black child falling victim to racist state violence.
"They’re killing you because you’re under a class system.”
BT sat down with Marquell Bridges, a Mississippi-based community organizer working with the family of Kohen Wiley, who was sitting on his mother’s lap inside a car in a Walmart parking lot when he was shot and killed by Senatobia Police Officer Hunter Foster in June.
Bridges, who joined Kohen’s father Daveon Williams and other grieving families in St. Paul for the March for Stolen lives, said the officers responding to a shoplifting call over an alleged diaper theft were informed three times that there was a baby present before Foster opened fire, including when Kohen’s mother Vellesiya Wiley held the boy up to show him to police. No charges have been filed against Vellesiya Wiley or the driver of the vehicle, who was also injured in the shooting.
Demands for the release of police and surveillance video are growing across the US, after Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch's office announced Monday it had determined Foster's use of force was justified — meaning he will not face criminal charges for killing the baby.

That ‘Israel is our greatest ally’ is the biggest lie Americans have ever been told. The attack on the USS Liberty leaves us w/o doubt. Yet many Americans don’t even seem to know. Why is that? Why do our history books not state that as a fact? Why does the media turn a blind eye?

The Korean War often goes by the moniker "Forgotten War." I have always thought that requires a caveat. The US has forgotten its atrocities and its genocide of 3-5 million Koreans. It has never forgotten its hatred of the DPRK or the Korean people.

He trying to having both ways. He recently went on a Zionist podcast to tell people they were too dumb to try to understand the Israel Palestine conflict.
Jason Alexander says he feared visiting Palestine as a Jew until 10 Palestinians protected him during an Israeli army raid in Ramallah
“How much of a risk would I be taking as an American Jew walking into Palestinian cities? And Mohammed said, ‘The greatest dishonor that could happen to a religious Muslim is to allow harm to come to an invited guest’”
“And he said, ‘Jason, if they had to, they’ll take a bullet for you.’ And what was so interesting about that trip is, we were having lunch in Ramallah with a bunch of actors and artists at a sort of outdoor restaurant”
“And the Israeli army was conducting a raid on a bank that they thought had terrorist ties a couple blocks away. And they must have, to announce themselves, just shot into the air. And I remember 10 of those guys at the table surrounding me. And I went, ‘Oh my God, he wasn’t kidding. They’re not going to let me get hurt’”

Ok, but Charlamagne and the breakfast club have no room to talk. Y’all just had a Zionist on your show and gave him space to normalize his racist ideology to your Black audience. They are no better than Stephen A. Smith.

I just think it’s very interesting how so many people are facing serious material harm and dealing with real problems that affect their daily lives, and yet we have to listen to American Jews whose main concern seems to be their discomfort with the way people talk about Israel.
For @WSJFreeEx, I spoke with Jewish New Yorkers about the Democratic Party's leftward drift and animosity toward Israel. It's not just polls—the people I talked to are concerned. As some said, this isn't the Democratic Party they once knew.

Police shot and killed a one-year-old Black baby in Mississippi.
Now, the state's attorney general says the shooting was justified.
His name was Kohen Wiley.
He was sitting in his mother's lap when an officer opened fire on their car while responding to an alleged shoplifting incident.
A baby is dead, and the authorities have declared the killing justified.
The family is demanding answers, and the body-camera footage has not been publicly released.
America is one wicked country.
Would this have happened if the child were white ?
For white supremacists, even the very existence of a 1 year Black child is treated as a threat.

The USSR and Eastern bloc countries offered free education and scholarship to African and Arab students. My dad had Yemeni roommates at his uni in Romania, and this is also a reason why he's not a white supremacist Islamophobe like boomers in the West

God, look at the quality of republican journalism today. They got us openly admitting a thing thats on the front page of our website.
Internal video of a DSA "Democratic Constitution Forum" was just uncovered by @DataRepublican, showing a member of the Marxist Unity Group caucus openly admitting they want to dismantle our Constitution and replace it with a one-house legislature modeled after the Soviet Politburo.
THIS IS A COLOR REVOLUTION.
First, they win congressional and local seats to build power from the inside. Then they plant seeds of hatred and declare every opposing elected leader a "fascist". Then, they trigger riots in the streets to force a federal response. Once the President sends in the National Guard, their allies in Congress scream "tyranny" to delegitimize the entire system.
It’s all designed to bait you into fighting back with violence. DO NOT TAKE THE BAIT. They are setting the stage in real time, and our only defense is to hold the line on the Constitution.

The crossroads today: it’s liberation & sovereignty or the Gaza Model
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on Lebanon:
Look at what is happening in Lebanon.
Today, more than 60 villages in southern Lebanon, beginning with those adjacent to the border, and beyond that, throughout the entire security zone up to the Yellow Line, an area of 700 square kilometers, are destroyed.
All the villages have been wiped out. Twenty-three thousand houses, all destroyed, demolished.
I am not even talking about what is underground, about the tunnels. Everything has been destroyed.
There are no residents there. Two hundred thousand residents are outside.
This is the Gaza model. And this is the model we are implementing.
