I’m honored to be joining @AmericanFreedom as VP of the Plymouth Institute for Free Enterprise, where my team and I will be excited to champion the values that have defined America.
Much of what has made America great first took root at Plymouth Colony in the 1620s:
• A bold, pioneering spirit
• Personal devotion to God and family
• Self-government and the consent of the governed
• The seeds of constitutionalism and the Rule of Law
• Property rights and economic freedom
Over the four centuries since, these ideals became a beacon to the world—from the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution to the liberation of Europe and Ronald Reagan’s “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall” speech.
Yet American freedom has also lived in the quiet dignity of individuals, families, pastors, farmers, and business owners pursuing what they feel called to do.
To keep this freedom and our nation thriving, the American people must carry its torch, and the federal government must remain constrained by the Constitution. At AAF, we will advance this vision as we look forward to celebrating the 250th anniversary of America’s independence!
Welcome to modern liberal math 🤦♂️
So, basically, 500 million Europeans expect 300 million Americans to protect them from 120 million Russians who can’t even defeat 40 million Ukrainians while those 500 million Europeans don’t even realize they are being conquered by 2 billion Muslims who claim they are being persecuted by 8 million Israelis. Is that about right?

The “Democratic” Socialists are trying to make Americas the next failed state.
Socialism has failed everywhere it’s been tried—but that hasn’t stopped the DSA from trying to impose it on Americans.
AAF’s @RichAStern examines socialism’s failures throughout history and warns of what could lie ahead for America👇
The bureaucracy always expands to meet the ever growing needs of the bureaucracy…
Check out the new Judicial Appointments Memo from @AmericanFreedom. This one shows that the judiciary has grown faster than the population.

Who would have thought that imposing crushing taxes on Americans would have raised prices 🤔🤯
U.S. steel prices just hit their highest level in more than four years, per Bloomberg.
Benchmark hot-rolled coil has jumped 52% over the past year to $1,255 a ton, a level last seen in May 2022.
The reason: Trump’s tariffs are squeezing foreign supply. Steel imports fell 14% in the first nine months of 2026.
First the government steals, then it offers to give back part of your earnings 🤦♂️
AAF’s Richard Stern was featured in the @DCExaminer on the administration’s $8 billion farmer aid package, arguing that the need for emergency aid stems in part from its own tariff policies.
“This is not emergency aid to deal with an unforeseen crisis… Rather, it’s emergency aid to deal with a very foreseeable, very intentionally man-made crisis.”

What’s going to happen to Social Security?
🎙️AAF’s @RichAStern joins @HvonSpakovsky on this week’s episode of Court is Adjourned to break down the future of Social Security and the challenges facing the program.
If you think about it, the DSA is doing exactly what they mistakenly claim capitalism does: taking over a successful venture and gutting and exploiting it for personal gain at the expense of the people that built it 🤔
This is a pure example of politicians promising prosperity but delivering theft and destruction instead.
The people who designed the tax tried to game around people's rational behavior by making the tax retroactive. But they're mad that Hoover scholars envision a world where people don't just sit back and take it when the state calls into question its commitment to people's property rights.
There's another, likelier outcome than either the official revenue estimate or what's described in the Hoover study: The tax comes close enough to passage to scare wealthy individuals into leaving, but it ultimately raises nothing because it never goes into effect (either because it fails or because courts strike it down). The net revenue effect for the state would be highly negative due to their leaving.
But, hey, they got a favorable official revenue estimate on paper. And all it may end up costing California is real income tax dollars fleeing.
So, what you’re saying is it’s a day that ends in “y” during the 20th or 21st century?
The hot new Democratic campaign tactic is to attack Republicans over a tax break that doesn't exist. @PostOpinions washingtonpost.com/opinions/…
