The world's largest data center is being built right here in North Texas. It's called Project Matador and is located in Carson County, Texas, approximately twelve miles northeast of Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle. The project area sits within a region known for its extensive energy infrastructure, transportation connectivity, agricultural economy, and large expanses of available land. They’re planning it to be absolutely massive, though not fully up and running yet. Just look at the size of this sucker and they plan on using more land around it for expansion. They'll no longer be a need for a song called "Amarillo by Morning" since daylight will never end.
