This is incredible. A father, a hero, a great American. God bless him.
Bend, Oregon man who shot and killed a shooter at his daughters' school speaks out, praises female teacher for fighting the shooter, allowing him to have a clear shot.
Kaylub Giamanco says he is haunted by the sound of children pleading for their lives.
He also praised the teacher for grabbing the gunman's weapon, allowing him to take a shot at the shooter.
"I want to recognize [the teacher]. She gave me the opportunity to make my shot without losing my life..."
"I swung the door open, and I stepped in, and I fired, and they dropped to the ground... I looked down at the gunman, and he was scrambling for his weapon. And I looked at him, and I shot him 2 more times..."

I am extremely disappointed. Shawn is lucky to be alive and lucky that no one innocent was hurt. There is no excuse for driving under the influence.
After speaking with Shawn, I am asking him to suspend his campaign immediately, and when elected, I will formally ask for his resignation. Shawn is a father and grandfather, and he needs to put his family first. He needs to do the work to ensure this never happens again. If he needs help with that, I will help him.
As governor, I will put the Commonwealth first. That starts with accountability, something Massachusetts has not seen from Maura Healey.

A man spends 50 years teaching at MIT.
He knows his time is running out.
So he records one last lecture — everything he knows, distilled into a single hour.
He died 5 months later.
This is that lecture.

BREAKING: A Seattle judge has granted FWD Floarin Balogun his injunction against FIFA.
15 years ago I bought my first property with an FHA loan and $30,000 down.
I was 22.
That deal turned into many more. Some made me 60x my money. Some lost me money and taught me more than any of the wins.
Starting today, I’m posting every deal. Real numbers. No filter.
By 2017 I’d done my first construction loan, my first zoning deal, and my first loss.
The loss: a 4-unit conversion appealed by a zoning attorney who happened to live next door.
We never closed. $36K in soft costs gone.
Lesson: “approved” ≠ “unappealable.”
The full series goes deal by deal from here — purchase price, financing, real returns, what worked, what didn’t.
No vanity metrics. Just what actually happened building a real estate company from $30K down to a development company across 3 markets.
Follow along. Deal #3 tomorrow.

This is incredibly generous.
TSA agents across the country are relying on food pantries and community donations just to get by.
I remain the lone Dem to vote with my Republican colleagues to fully fund DHS and get people paid.
It should never come to this point.
