A HUGE THANK YOU to @RileyFelt29 and @PiechRyan for all their hard work. Having such amazingly talented alumni that are eager to come back and help future Warriors is one of the many things that makes @WalshJesuit a special place!
Still some spots left to train with @PiechRyan and me!

Exactly how good was Ryan Feltner in the second half of his season?
All-Star worthy.
Feltner posts a 2.98 ERA over his last 15 starts, the first #Rockies starter with a sub-3.00 ERA through 15 starts since Germán Márquez during his All-Star campaign in 2021.

Riley Feltner, younger brother of #Rockies Ryan Feltner, is joining the analytics department of the Cleveland Guardians.
*Now that’s one way to celebrate your 24th birthday.
I will be joining the Guardians full-time as a Baseball Operations and Development Analyst. I’m appreciative for the people who’ve helped me the past several years and will always cherish the great memories and friendships made. Excited to get rolling in Cleveland!

With buy-in from pitchers and effective application, @CoachScully19 and @RileyFelt29 have been able to use the ever-present technology in baseball to put Miami’s pitching staff atop the MAC.

Quick blog I wrote in the fall and added to tonight. Hopefully it can add some value on a topic that is not touched on enough.
Likely the last content I’ll be posting for a while as we get rolling soon!

A good lead leg block is usually a good indicator of abrupt deceleration of the pelvis, which is important.
Here are some drills our guys do for the “lead hip block”
For some, this is a foreign topic. I like to show a very simple, hand drawn 😂, line chart of what we’re looking for
Some of these drills I made up. Others were taken from some great baseball minds: @MikeMcDonough_ & @RandySullivanPT
I also wrote a blog post several months ago on a similar topic. Check it out here if you’re interested
