It was a pleasure to be there.
Our government should be ashamed of themselves for not supporting this important Bill. @lloyd_rm did the work the government should have done.
We have waited long enough for the legislation.
Itβs disgraceful that, because of filibustering by those opposed, @lloyd_rmβs bill banning conversion practices didnβt progress.
This is an insult to survivors and a betrayal of those at risk.
We will keep fighting for a comprehensive ban to protect LGBTQ+ people from abuse.
