320 weeks since MicroStrategy bought its first bitcoin (Aug. 10, 2020). Bitcoin was up in 167 of them. Down in 153. MSTR: 163 up, 157 down. Basically a coin flip. But: BTC avg up week: +6.3% / avg down week: −5.0% MSTR: +11.0% / −8.2% Result: BTC +623%. MSTR +1,186%.

I just took out a #Bitcoin backed loan with #Ledn $23k, 14 hours from application in Texas to having the money in my bank. Applied for the loan, 15 minutes later got accepted, 5 minutes later transferred Bitcoin as collateral, 14 hours later the money is in my account. No credit checks required. Loan and interest not due until 12 months later. Try doing that with traditional banking. At best it’s days, with credit check, application forms, higher interest rates etc. Bitcoin is changing the world.

A full-page Bitcoin ad in today’s WSJ: “The fringe phase is officially over.” It argues that 1 in 4 Americans owns bitcoin, that it secures $1.25 trillion in wealth, powered the most successful ETF launch in history, and is now held on corporate and government balance sheets.

How does letting people keep their own money that they earn constitute "giving" them money? What you want to do is take their money and give it to others who did not earning it to buy their votes.

Bitcoin has no use cases! Sure. • El Salvador: legal tender for an entire nation. • BlackRock: Bitcoin ETF with $35 billion AUM in 12 months. • Argentina: citizens fleeing 140% inflation into BTC. • Remittances: $200 sent globally for $0.50 instead of $47 through Western Union. • Self-custody: zero counterparty risk in a banking system that froze Canadian truckers for donating $50. • Monetary escape: every fiat collapse from Zimbabwe to Venezuela shows why this matters. Storing value outside state confiscation. Anyone still saying "no use case" missed the memo when governments, pensions, and sovereign wealth funds started stacking in 2021. You're not early. You're blind.

If you liked Bitcoin at $126,000 you should love it at $58,000. Nothing has changed. - 10 min block times - 3.125 BTC every block - 21 million supply cap - Decentralized system - Permission-less money - Divisible to 100m units - Can transport anywhere - Trust-less, transparent

Even if Strategy NEVER touched their USD or BTC reserves, they would only have to dilute MSTR at 0.5% per month to pay the dividends. That’s 6% per year. MSTR shareholders know they are getting 44% amplified Bitcoin in exchange for servicing the dividends. The math isn’t hard. Strategy is fine.

When you write it down it’s laughable.

So let me get this straight: - You take gold (centralized, hard to move, hard to divide) - Wrap it in a token (requires trust, issuers, redemption risk) - Put it on rails built by… crypto …and somehow that’s the thing that replaces Bitcoin?

🧵 "Governments will just ban it." The most common FUD argument. Here's why it's wrong. Countries that have "banned" Bitcoin: 🇨🇳 China — banned it in 2021. Bitcoin kept running. Mining moved to Texas and Kazakhstan. 🇧🇩 Bangladesh — banned it. Bitcoin kept running. 🇳🇬 Nigeria — restricted it heavily. Nigeria now has one of the highest Bitcoin adoption rates in the world. Bitcoin. Kept. Running. Why is it so hard to ban? 1. No central server. You can't raid a distributed network. 2. It's just software and math. Banning Bitcoin is like banning mathematics. 3. Runs over the internet. You'd have to shut down the internet. 4. Peer-to-peer. Can run over radio waves, mesh networks, and satellite. 5. Self-custody. You hold the keys. There's nothing to seize. What CANNOT governments do? Stop the protocol. Alter the rules. Confiscate what they can't find. The US government now holds more Bitcoin than almost any entity on earth — seized from criminals. Even they know you can't uninvent it. @gladstein on Bitcoin bans: bitcoinmagazine.com/?s=glads… @aantonop's "Bitcoin Cannot Be Banned": youtube.com/watch?v=RNsez_8_… #Bitcoin #BTC #BitcoinEducation #SoundMoney #Decentralized #FinancialFreedom #LearnBitcoin #HardMoney #Gold

🧵 For 5,000 years, gold was the world's best money. Then Bitcoin showed up. Here's the honest comparison. No hype. Why gold won for millennia: ✅ Scarce and costly to produce ✅ Durable — doesn't corrode ✅ Globally recognised store of value ✅ No counterparty risk (if you hold it physically) ✅ Can't be printed Gold is real. Gold works. Gold has stood the test of time. Where Bitcoin improves on gold: 🔷 Portability — Carry $1 billion in your head (seed phrase). Try that with gold. 🔷 Divisibility — 1 Bitcoin = 100,000,000 satoshis. 🔷 Verifiability — Verify Bitcoin instantly. Gold requires physical testing. 🔷 Transferability — Bitcoin crosses borders in minutes. Gold needs armoured trucks. 🔷 Supply certainty — Bitcoin: exactly 21 million, provably. Gold: unknown total supply. 🔷 Confiscation resistance — US govt confiscated gold in 1933. A memorised seed phrase can't be confiscated. Gold market cap: ~$35 trillion. Bitcoin: ~$1.4 trillion. If Bitcoin captures just 20% of gold's role? The maths is very interesting. @PeterSchiff disagrees. Let him know what you think. @saylor's case: hope.com @LynAldenContact's analysis: lynalden.com/bitcoin/ #Bitcoin #BTC #Gold #DigitalGold #SoundMoney #HardMoney #BitcoinEducation #StoreOfValue #LearnBitcoin #PeterSchiff

🧵 "I can't afford a whole Bitcoin." I hear this all the time. Here's why it doesn't matter — and what a satoshi actually is. 1 Bitcoin = 100,000,000 satoshis Named after Satoshi Nakamoto, a satoshi (or "sat") is the smallest unit of Bitcoin. You can own 0.00000001 BTC.

There will only ever be 2.1 quadrillion satoshis in existence. Spread across 8 billion people — that's 262,500 sats per person if evenly distributed. Most people will never own a whole Bitcoin. But most people can stack sats.
