Here's an example of just how ridiculous CA has gotten with their gun laws. To order these scary, evil gun parts from an out of state supplier, I had to send them a copy of my DL and sign an agreement that I knew and understood the CA restrictions on purchasing weapon parts. Oh, and a live signature with the shipper on delivery.

A reminder that California Republicans put two bills before the assembly to suspend the state gas tax. Democrats, including Governor Gavin Newsom blocked it. California does not want cheaper gas. They want you to pay more for the freedom of driving a gas or diesel powered vehicle.
