Very lucky to have a good view of the game this evening! #Wembley
Dear #SEOagency people - for the first time I need to write an RFP for SEO work...I've been on the receiving end of some bad RFPs, but not many good ones. What do you all think needs to be in an SEO RFP? Dos and don'ts? etc.

Thank you very much and happy birthday @riseatseven - big congratulations to @stekenwright, @CarrieRosePR and the team there. All the best for the next year!

Well, a birthday on your own in lockdown is pretty rubbish...but a good reminder to be grateful for my good health and how much I'm looking forward to seeing folk on the other side. Wash your hands, keep your social distance and stay well everyone!

I should also hope the $22,500 (or the $18,500 min.) asking price for this domain is donated to a good cause #COVID19

Well...someone in self-isolation has far too much time on their hands...

Feels strange to be stepping back from SEO for a little while, but still really enjoyed this chat with @RicRodriguez_UK - definitely one of the smartest people in our industry! Thanks to everyone who came along!

Sounds simple, but know your audience. Findings/recs from an #SEO audit to the C-suite will be different to those for an ecom manager, will be diff to those for devs. Could mean different outputs from the audit, but always match it to your audience and frame it against their KPIs
Pro Tip: If your SEO audit isn't discussing findings in a way that resonates with the C-suite, you're doing it wrong.

Not sure if this will end up being a service offering, but I really feel like a lot of brands fail to manage paid and organic channels in the most cohesive and cost effective way. Excited to see if anything develops here!

Sometimes I think the internal search pages that Wayfair kindly allow to be indexed make for a better source of keyword (and user) research than lots of tools available

Here’s a #Python script I hope gives useful #SEO & content insights. Looks at the content on top ranking URLs for a set of keywords to do: 1) PoS Analysis 2) Named Entity Extraction 3) Topic Modelling 4) Salience Analysis 5) Question Extraction & more... colab.research.google.com/dr…

I am also still very much a #Python novice so there's no doubt lots of this could be more pythonic. If anyone has any advice or suggestions to improve, please do let me know! I will also be doing a write up to support this, and to say thanks to the ppl that helped so far!

Last point is that this isn't supposed to give folk a perfect formula for on page SEO. It gives you data/insights that you can analyse & interpret to (hopefully!) inform the decisions you make. With that said, I hope someone out there finds it useful! Be curious and be kind :)

Slightly different #SEO #Python use case; working on a script that compiles questions from ranking URLs for a set of keywords, uses topic modelling to assign a topic & show salient terms. Could help inform content optimisations. Any interest in this sort of thing? #WorkInProgress

Important question @rvtheverett - working on some new Python language-analysis stuff and naturally I was testing it on content around the best types of dogs. Do you agree with this list of adjectives? Anything else you'd like to see?

Noticed a new (new to me...) GSC warning message regarding TLS 1.0/1.1 depreciation

First point is really important. It's easy to set personal expectations based on what can seem like a relentless narrative of success across #SEO #DigitalPR forums. This can lead to ppl putting an unrealistic amount of pressure on themselves - maybe not just on a bad day either.

However, the constant 'public horn tooting' has its downsides: - On a bad day, it can make you think you're not good enough - Numbers can be meaningless, particularly without context - Winning clients is not the same as retaining them - It kinda feels like a dog and pony show
