Hey @cbs @CBSNews there needs to be consequences for bias hack reporters like Jan Crawford. Maybe consider hiring better? @JanCBS do better.

once again proving he has no substance, and is either a grifter or an idiot (although these aren’t mutually exclusive)
.@ZachLahn: "Rob Sand was lockstep with Fauci-- locking down churches, locking down schools, wanting to mandate masks. There is an issue going on in our country now with candidates trying to run as moderates, but have radical records and Rob Sand is absolutely one of those."

our Nation is sick
Our midterm election coverage will include not only CBS News polling data, but also integrated data from Kalshi, our prediction market sponsor. We'll offer a glimpse into how prediction market traders are pricing race outcomes – but it will be the voters that decide it all.

Under Rob Thomson's management, the Philadelphia Phillies had a run differential of -54 during the 2026 season. This was the worst in Major League Baseball at the time. Don Mattingly should be given serious consideration for Manager of the Year.

I’d vote for Iran to have Nukes
Trump says that “if they had a vote” and it was between lower gas prices and Iran having a nuclear weapon, by a landslide people would vote for higher gas prices but no nukes for Iran. I thought in this country we do have votes?

I bet if the U.S. didn’t fly helicopters near Iran, they wouldn’t get shot down by Iran

everything about this is insane. logic being applied means runners can run anywhere on the field to avoid a tag if the fielder hasn’t made a swipe at them with the glove. Not only is that stupid, it’s not per major league baseball rules.
Ernie Clement said the umps made the right call. Gunnar Henderson disagreed. Craig Albernaz was given two different explanations. The crew chief called Clement "gentlemanly." Shane Baz doesn't want to get fined. Making sense of a messy no-call in Toronto: baltimoresun.com/2026/06/07/…

Replying to @Amtrak
@Amtrak I know your funding is cut to nothing and our government wants you to fail, but can you at least provide cars that don’t smell like sewage and give you a headache. Our California Zephyr ride left us miserable due to a correctable hazard which only!one car suffered 1/

A conductor told us they could not fix it until California. Contracting @amtrak customer service is difficult if not an improbable option. The website is extremely unhelpful. We shouldn’t have to suffer for FRA defective equipment when other riders did not. Fix your hazards. /2

Reminder, for most working class people, retiring later means dying earlier. The following is railroad worker life expectancy based on retirement age. Most blue-collar professions will have similar results. It’s time to make these ghouls afraid to spew their violent policy.
Dr Oz: "If we could get the average American to start working a year earlier, right out of high school, or a year later -- not retire -- or work better during their lifetime because they're healthy, it would generate about $3 trillion to the US economy. That would more than remove the debt."

You know what else would make Medicare solvent? Raising the cap on contributors and making billionaires pay their fair share. Instead, these absolute ghouls in our government want to see you work till you’re dead.

Jeff Bezos is spending $200 billion on AI and robotics. Jeff Bezos is replacing hundreds of thousands of his workers at Amazon with robots. Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post. What a surprise. The Washington Post doesn’t want a moratorium on AI data centers.

Some people will do anything to avoid improving living standards and expanding economic opportunities by adding public transit.
A bill in the Iowa State Senate was introduced seeking an expansion of its economic growth attraction program with a goal of luring an NFL franchise, specifically the Chicago Bears. “While Illinois and Indiana squabble over this issue, we are ready to get off the sidelines and into the game."
