@UKLabour You must know ousting democratically selected people of colour & replacing them with people of the same colour that you’ve chosen is straight from the colonial playbook? Because we do. It doesn’t make you less racist; it makes your racism more cynical. #StandwithFaiza

Free speech king!
Musk’s interview went great: Reporter: What is your thought on the ban of foreign students, you were one of those kids, right? Musk: β€œI think we want to stick to talking about spaceships.” Reporter: I was told that any topic is good. Musk: β€œWell no.”

The @BBCNews correspondent describes Netanyahu as 'slick, experienced, media-savvy'. How about: 'subject to an ICC arrest warrant for war crimes in Gaza'? BBC 'News' = propaganda by omission.
The BBC’s Middle East correspondent frames the Israeli elections as Netanyahu against β€œleftist” and β€œcentrist” figures like Eisenkot, whom she describes as β€œsoftly spoken” and β€œlowkey”. What she leaves out is that he’s a former general and the architect of the Dahiyeh Doctrine, which calls for disproportionate force and deliberate targeting of civilians and their infrastructure. In what world is that left wing?

Israel doesn’t give a crap; they will stop whoever they can seeing the terrorism going on. The horrors being prosecuted against the indigenous community.
Today Israeli authorities barred me and other European elected representatives from entering the West Bank to meet Palestinian students and civil society leaders, as part of a @ProgIntl delegation. We knew that by crossing into the occupied Palestinian territories, we risked being detained, interrogated and turned away by Israeli authorities. And that, alas, is exactly what happened. For more than eight hours, we were held, interrogated and made to feel as though we had done something wrong simply by attempting to enter. The simple truth is we had done nothing wrong. We went to show our support for the Palestinian people and highlight the terrible injustice and violence being perpetrated against them. We want to ensure that people back home do not look away from the reality of what is happening. Ultimately, we went to show solidarity. But we left with an even greater determination to speak out. We will not be silenced, and we will not look away. None of us should.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Pete Hegseth just got absolutely humiliated by Senator Tammy Duckworth! Senator Tammy Duckworth, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel who lost both legs while serving in Iraq, challenged Hegseth: "I'm glad you brought that up. Can you name a single country that belongs to ASEAN and explain what agreement we have with it? And, by the way, how many countries are in ASEAN? Frankly, I'm not sure you even know who our allies are." Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth: "Well, I can't give you the exact number, but I certainly know our allies in South Korea, Japan, and Australia..." Senator Duckworth: "None of the countries you just mentioned are members of ASEAN. I suggest you do your homework before engaging in these discussions." And this is the kind of clueless bullshit running the Pentagon. Absolutely unbelievable.

If people wish to study modern day Nazism please look at the rantings and writings of @YishaiFleisher - the epitome of modern day Nazism and Jewish supremacism

Disgusted that @tombateman, enabled by @BBCNews, interviewed far right racist Greg Bovino on his views on #ICE and Minneapolis. Who lives on appearances with white supremacists at conferences calling for 'remigration'? Who makes Hesgeth, Trump et al seem moderate?

You can't speak to Palestinian people, @MikeTappTweets, because you don't know any Palestinian people'? What a blatantly bigoted, idiotic wanker you so obviously are. Is that how consultation is done? Only with people you know? FFS

Went on @ShelaghFogarty's @LBC show yesterday to talk about the posters encouraging people to boycott the new Gail's in Brixton, and why the people obsessed with Israel aren't the boycotters, but LBC hosts.

Former Green leader Caroline Lucas says she's 'very upset' about calls for her removal over criticism of the party’s β€˜Zionism is racism’ motion.

This is Sir David Bell who carried out the "independent" review of antisemitism in schools. (credit @GarySpedding)
🚨 NEW: The Government has accepted all 27 recommendations from the report to end antisemitism in schools and colleges 1. Recognise antisemitism as a distinct form of hatred, not just general racism 2. Strengthen political impartiality guidance, including limits on teachers wearing pro-Palestine badges 3. Establish a national hotline for school leaders dealing with antisemitism 4. Improve teaching about contemporary antisemitism and modern Jewish life 5. Teach pupils to recognise and challenge antisemitic conspiracy theories 6. Include antisemitism explicitly in school safeguarding policies 7. Train teachers to recognise and tackle antisemitism 8. Work with the Home Office and the Prevent programme to help schools identify when antisemitism may be linked to radicalisation 9. Encourage schools to adopt the IHRA working definition of antisemitism 10. Improve procedures for reporting antisemitic incidents, including signposting 11. Ensure antisemitic bullying and complaints are investigated and acted on consistently 12. Make clear in staff conduct policies that antisemitism is unacceptable 13. Strengthen Holocaust education, including antisemitism's role in the Holocaust, and encourage schools to mark Holocaust Memorial Day 14. Create more opportunities for pupils to engage with Jewish communities, including visits to synagogues 15. Make sure Judaism and modern Jewish life are properly represented in religious education 16. Improve media literacy so pupils can also identify online antisemitism 17. Provide better resources for teaching the Israel-Palestine conflict fairly and sensitively 18. Ensure schools have clear policies for dealing with antisemitism involving external speakers 19. Ensure education unions have clear antisemitism policies 20. Use some of the Government's security funding to help Jewish schools and colleges undertake educational visits safely 22. Run a campaign to tackle antisemitic behaviour at transport hubs near Jewish schools and colleges 23. Provide Jewish school and college leaders with mentoring and more security advice 24. Strengthen accountability for schools that fail to deal properly with antisemitism 25. Enable Ofsted and the Independent Schools Inspectorate to assess how schools tackle antisemitism 26. Took a homelessness application from a Muslim household today who had to flee from a violently racist attack on them & their home - which they can never go back to. Probably many such cases, with zero publicity. Wonder if there would be if they were of a different religion.

Two weeks ago you were saying the Labour Party got it wrong on Gaza. Now you're accepting a report that will effectively ban meaningful and robust criticism of Israel in schools - and which plainly amounts to discrimination against any person expressing anti-Zionist views, despite it being a protected belief. It candidly and despicably says Muslims disproportionately express antisemitic views, because they hold anti-Israel views. It says 45% of all British people are antisemitic because they believe Israel treats Palestinians like Nazis treated the Jews - such would make NAZA antisemitic too. It recommends schools more actively involve Prevent - PREVENT! - where students express anti-Zionist or anti-Israel views. Appallung, gutless, reckless and inflammatory stuff, none of which will withstand even cursory legal scrutiny. The Labour Together Project lives on in the muscle memory of this genocide-complicit Labour administration.
Antisemitism is a scourge on society and we are committed to stamping it out. We’ve accepted all 27 recommendations of the Bell Review, including encouraging schools and colleges to adopt the IHRA Working Definition. We will continue to promote its adoption internationally.

The U.K. twice suspended a Black politician because she said there's a hierarchy of racism with antisemitism at the top and anti-Blackness at the bottom. Today, the U.K. made antisemitism a distinct form of racism and came out with a 27-point plan!
