Some of my favorite memories as a child were waking up and watching @ColleGameDay with my dad. I couldn’t even watch for 5 min this morning with my own kids before the first swear word was dropped.
You want @PatMcAfeeShow on the air? Fine, I am all for it. Can someone tell him he doesn’t need to use the same language he uses on his show. His show airs when kids are in school. Gameday is weekend morning programming.
I am saddened @KirkHerbstreit and @ReceDavis have done nothing to reign in the language. The energy is fantastic. The execution is poor.
Coach Brown was 1/1. There wasn’t ever anyone else like him. Heaven’s hoop team just got a little better today. I will miss him. He had no reason to strike up or continue a friendship with me after we crossed paths years ago, yet he always checked in and stayed in touch.
He made our world a better place not just our game.
Tark will have one team running the “amoeba” and DBrown will have the other team running the “freak defense” up there.
New: Legendary #LSU basketball coach Dale Brown has passed away.
Brown - the winningest coach in LSU hoops history - was 90 years old.
We’re talking about Brown and his impact on Baton Rouge over at @Geaux247.

Hot take : it isn’t analytic nerds that ruined basketball, it is the bending and distortion of the rules that have people on here defending this move.

Jack Haley is an American original, the Michael Jordan of 12th men in basketball.
My brother attended Haley's camp in LA not long after the 1996 NBA champ retired.
I recommend zooming in and reading this 1990 profile on Haley. Damn good article.
May his memory be a blessing.

Good for Pat Kelsey for saying this in court directly to the NCAA.
“Tell me the rules and I’ll follow them. But no one does. And then every time something happens, a lawsuit happens, so nobody knows [the rules].”
My favorite part about following @CoachCroick's coaching career from afar is that he has ALWAYS been that dude. He has always had a passion to compete and for his team. He was crushing dudes in JV basketball years ago.

Just like there’s many different ways to do Vegas. There are many different ways to do Border League.
Yes, the elite teams get to play other elite teams in elite venues. How is that different from any other tournament?
You can have a team that isn’t considered “elite” and use this weekend like some teams used to use college team camps. I have seen several teams that will compete for championships in D5-10 this year doing this.
You can start to show your program that there are levels to this and what it is going to take to get on the “main stage”.
I also know two coaches who chose not to bring teams and that was the right decision for their programs. They know best how to lead their young men.
There is no downside to Border League. You just have to plot your course and stay focused on what is best for your program.
Definitely a new Vegas experience this morning.
Proud of two of our guys for getting to bed last night and getting up this morning to take the SAT.
