Ty Dieffenbach on his rise to prominence at UCLA: "In that fourth quarter when we were doing the “California Love” [light show], you know, five years ago I’m sitting in the stands watching guys do this and now I’m there–it was special to me.”

From a nervous Agoura High coach Dustin Croick watching his former QB, Ty Dieffenbach, on Saturday at the Rose Bowl: "In all honesty, I’m just so proud of him and the person he is right now. Today was an amazing day!"

Ty Dieffenbach leads UCLA to victory in his first start at QB. Bruins are 6-0. Chesney is the real deal …

Bob Chesney is the real deal. Not just because he’s a good coach, but because of his authentic approach and leadership style. The best leaders don’t bark orders, they serve. Looking at UCLA’s schedule , don’t be surprised to hear CFP rumblings.

When I was a SPED teacher Ty used to get a group of kids to have lunch once a week with my students. Just to make them feel good. No one asked him to, he just knew it would make a difference. Now he’s QB1 @UCLAFootball Let’s go! @tydieffenbach14 Great QB, even better person

My favorite part about following @CoachCroick's coaching career from afar is that he has ALWAYS been that dude. He has always had a passion to compete and for his team. He was crushing dudes in JV basketball years ago.

Agoura football coach Dustin Croick was busy with relatives in town. He turned off his phone. Then he saw 173 text messages. Then he faced timed with his former QB Ty Dieffenbach after UCLA beat Oregon. Emotional day.
