Does anyone on here who does remote work have a secondary Internet in case their primary goes down?

I really relate to this.
Word of the day is ‘cancelphoria’: the joy of discovering that an arrangement you were dreading has been called off, leaving you with the satisfaction of not having cancelled first, and the bliss of staying at home. Created by @RobbieRinder for @BBCRadio4’s ‘Unspeakable’,

I'm tired of trying to wade myself through academic writing. Why do people have to use big words? Just use flipping English so more of us can understand what you are trying to explain.

Pet peeve for today are the people who say 'I don't need a microphone, I speak loudly'. Do me a favour just use a microphone. #headmashed

I am posting this yet again. When Interpreters ask for prep we are not being arsed we are trying to make you look good. It is not us being divas. Second if we ask for comfort monitor or speakers weeks in advance it's bec we need them.

God, if one exists, is definitely not female. No female would put anyone through the pains of periods, pregnancy, peri menopause, menopause and loads of undignified stuff.

Our new PM @keir_starmer pledged today outside @10DowningStreet that the @UKLabour government would treat “every single person in this country with respect.” Does that pledge include #Deaf people? Where was the #BSL interpreter as he addressed the UK public for the first time?
Deaf people have been left in limbo: we still don’t know if there will be a BSL interpreter when @Keir_Starmer gives his first speech. We have one here ready and waiting – just give us the nod, Kier, and we’ll help make sure your speech is accessible for deaf people.

Wishing that my level of ISL was high enough to go and work alongside @SKalinova. I don't think my QQI level 5 will quite cut it. What an amazing opportunity though. #togetherconf2024

Doesn't matter to me if you are NRCPD or RBSLI, ASLI or VLP. can you do your job and can you support me when we are co working and have a debrief after the assignment is done to learn and develop?

Why is the focus always on 'the deaf person needed an interpreter'? Does that mean the hearing person doesn't need the interpreter? Surely both parties need the interpreter?
