More deflection. How long have you lived in the UK being located in Congo? Were you born there like me and grew up there? You support a club known to be infested by racists and nonces since the 70s. 🤡🤡🤡 #morelaughable
Fantastic stuff, hope to see you there .
Is #championmonday a thing?

This will complete my 6 🌟 @wmmajors which has been a long journey of what will be my first Major that was at @nycmarathon back in 2017.
10 years of highs and lows, but we get there 🤩
For those interested, the back story is on my YouTube with title BIG NEWS 👇🏼

Well this certainly sucks
Not as obvious (to me) as some other runners that have been popped in the past, but makes you wonder if late scratches in London each of the past two years were truly due to injury or not
The Athletics Integrity Unit has provisionally suspended reigning world marathon champion 🇰🇪 Peres Jepchirchir after an out-of-competition sample collected in Kenya returned an adverse analytical finding for EPO. The sample was taken before her Sydney Marathon win.
One of the most decorated marathoners of this generation:
• Olympic champion, Tokyo 2021 🥇
• Reigning world champion, Tokyo 2025 🥇
• Four-time World Marathon Major winner: New York (2021), Boston (2022), London (2024), Sydney (2026) 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆
• Her 2:16:16 to win the 2024 London Marathon was the women's-only world record at the time
• She owns a personal best of 2:14:43 from Valencia 2025
She can request analysis of the B sample, and the case proceeds to a charge or is closed depending on what follows.

The AIU has banned former Tokyo Marathon champion 🇪🇹 Ruti Aga for six years after a positive test for methylprednisolone and a separate tampering violation for producing a forged document during the investigation.
Aga tested positive at the Meishan Renshou Half Marathon in China on March 15, 2026, where she won in 1:08:04. Methylprednisolone is a Class S9 glucocorticoid, banned in competition. She was ranked 11th in the world at the time.
From 2016 to 2019, she had six podium finishes at World Marathon Majors. She has not competed at a World Marathon Major since 2022. From 2023–2026, she earned five marathon wins across Dongying, Daegu, Xiamen (twice) and Hangzhou, plus runner-up finishes in Dubai (twice) and Sydney, with a personal best of 2:18:09.
Her excuse: Aga said the substance came from treatment for a knee injury and submitted a prescription from a clinic. The clinic did not exist. The ‘doctor’ who issued it was a family member with no medical registration. When questioned, the family member said they’d used an old prescription pad from a former workplace. That clinic confirmed the person had never worked there and the pad wasn’t theirs.
The AIU, supported by the Ethiopian Anti-Doping Authority, established that the document was forged. She’d also given false information in an AIU interview on April 21 before producing the document on May 4.
As a result:
Presence/Use of a Specified Substance | 2 years
Tampering | 4 years
= 6 years
She would be 38 years old when eligible to return on September 10, 2032.
