Utilizing digitized home films from small-town Wisconsin in the 60s, the piece explores the delicate balance between recollection and distortion, weaving a tapestry of fragmented images that blur the lines between reality and fiction. 🗣️ Thank you KC for coming out to our opening of Digital Nostalgia! 📆 On display until 07/03 The June exhibition at Digital Dreams Gallery focuses on memory and nostalgia within the digital realm. The exhibition explores how memories are increasingly stored and recalled through digital means, featuring digital collages and animations that juxtapose personal and collective memories. The theme questions what we choose to digitize and the authenticity of digital versus real-life memories, asking visitors, "Who were you before the digital identity, do you remember? How do they blend?"
