@NorCalBaseball ‘29 @Nate_harmon21 has gained close to 25 pounds from this last May on the left to last week on the right. Part of it is mother nature taking its course on normal maturation and most of it getting after it! Velocity has gone up close to 8 mph. We preach to our guys to work on getting bigger better, faster, stronger, and everybody tries, but not everybody does it. This young man implemented it. Same work ethic as his big brother and learned his new kick change pitch from some guy named Jackson Flora. Not bad. Bottom line, don’t talk about it, show it. This is impressive.

Today is one of those character and culture building days. It was over four hours of getting after it working then scrimmaging against some of our 29 fellas who were outstanding. We kept them to a high standard and demanded a great deal and these kids really came through. I’m thinking they will look back and remember one of those days where we powered through. Heartwarming as coaches and very proud of them.

Coach Tony sent a great group down to Fullerton at Amerige Park for the weekend to play against a couple of our “sister programs”. Always great to play against good competition in these boys that we sent down did a great job. @NorCalBaseball

Earlier in the season, Brewer manager Pat Murphy pulled rookie Cooper Pratt for not fully running out a hit.
Tonight, Murph pulled veteran William Contreras for not running out a ball to first.
The Brewers win because the Standard is the Standard for rookies and vets. @Brewers

How simple is this BHB to 3B by Altuve. It’s about speed & direction versus surprise.
1) Early show.
2) Off the plate leaning in.
3) Elbows pointing down.
4) Barrel pointed towards the 1B coach.
5) Catching the ball on the bat.
6) Running after he sees the ball down.
