Xabi Alonso is here for the longterm. He wouldn’t have taken the job otherwise. Without including interim/coaches appointed midway or Potter, the rest were given a full season or more. The reaction by most post game/immediate emotions was proportionate to the result & context.

People are freaking out over the same cycle: directors brief the media about wanting a player, then fumble it on deadline day. Jacquet is better than any CB they’ll sign this summer. I’d rather overpay for him than spend £90m on 2 bums.
