Dear Son, by the time you read this,
I will probably be gone,
I want you to know, that I wasn’t amiss,
I fought to the bone,
So that I could give you, your daily kiss,
But legal battles alone,
Sent me deep into the abyss,

For almost seven years,
We were together every day,
All is now down to tears,
