All teachers in this country should be paid at least $60,000.
Couldn’t justify cost of childcare with my teacher’s salary so I stayed home w baby … now my students have a revolving door of subs. Heartbreaking. It’s reaching a tipping point. Teachers must make more if we want to keep them in the classroom.
