The last wind turbine has been installed at the Moray West offshore wind farm.
All 160 blades were built in Hull, & when fully operational in 2025 it will provide up to 50% of Scotland's electricity & save over 1.1 million tonnes of CO2 emissions every year.
🌊 We announce the installation of the final turbine at the Moray West wind farm!
In the stunning Moray Firth, northern Scotland, the 60th SG 14-222 DD turbine, capable of generating up to 14.7 MW, is set to transform Europe's energy.

Jaguar Land Rover-owner Tata Group’s new Somerset gigafactory – the numbers:
▪️ £4 billion investment - one of the largest ever investments in the UK automotive sector.
▪️ 4,000 direct jobs set to be created plus thousands more in the wider supply chain.
▪️ The Agratas-operated gigafactory, Tata Group’s first outside of India, is one of the largest battery manufacturing plants in Europe.
▪️ With an eventual output of 40GWh, the gigafactory will provide almost half of the battery production that the Faraday Institution estimates the UK will need by 2030.
The £4 billion gigafactory, scheduled to open in 2026, is in addition to the £15 billion UK investment programme JLR announced last year.
