Baristas literally spend their time in a steamy room pulling levers on dangerous machinery converting a raw commodity into a value added product for near minimum wage and yet every 2 months we decide that isn’t working class bc they have tattoos or something.

It does not feel like many are grasping how serious this is. Longterm severe health and cognitive consequences, death of many thousands within weeks.
It is insane anyone in power is doing anything but flying to the border of Gaza and demanding food trucks in.
Is anyone still here? Well if you are I'm opening GAMEPLAY @CamdenPT on Monday as part of Starting Blocks Festival, it's a weird deep dark one about war, the future, and bombs landing on theatres, book your tickets here cptheatre.co.uk/whatson/Game…

Like, most people don't want to abolish the police, sure. But that is obviously not enough to abandon police abolition as analysis nor political goal. We don't shape our view of emancipation by polling numbers

Y’all love dehumanizing people in the south. The birth place of the civil rights movement. This behavior is so nasty to millions of vulnerable people who’ve been historically and systemically disenfranchised. There’s millions of us down here that aren’t Republicans, asshole.

Netanyahu made a bet nearly a year ago that Trump would win and in the meantime Biden would be too weak to stop his mass extermination campaign.
And that that weakness would help Trump.
Today, Netanyahu fired Biden’s ally Gallant, launched a major raid on the West Bank, and declared northern Gaza fully ethnically cleansed. His bet paid off. What did Democrats get for going along with the genocide?
“On the big picture, Ryan, I’ll tell you honestly, I think that Netanyahu at some point—around December, January—decided to take a bet, and the bet was on Donald Trump winning the election in the United States.”
Haaretz journalist Amir Tibon tells @DropSiteNews’ Ryan Grim that Netanyahu’s political future hinges on a Trump victory in the U.S. election. His far-right and ultra-Orthodox coalition demands two key policies, one of them being the expansion of settlements in Gaza. Tibon believes that if Kamala Harris wins, U.S. pressure would establish a “red line” against Gaza settlements, likely leading to a collapse of Netanyahu’s government within months.
However, with Trump in office, Netanyahu could push these policies forward without much pushback, and Trump would likely be indifferent to Israel’s drift toward authoritarianism.
Tibon quips, knowing Trump, Netanyahu might even market the settlements as ‘condos on the beach.’
